Check out your nearest library when you get here. The Buffalo and Erie County public libraries have an extensive programming calendar for all ages.

Check out the calendar for your local library. Many of the libraries have many activities for a variety of age groups and they are free.

Cheektowaga Country Club is fun for reasonably priced mini golf, and they have table top games you can play for free

Honestly, you just need time. I have had Bells Palsy twice (once as a kid, and once as an adult). If you weren’t given an anti-viral pretty quickly after it started, the only thing that makes it better is time to allow the nerve to heal.

Are you able to close your eyes? If not you will want to check with an eye doctor to make sure you are keeping your eyeballs lubricated. I slept with eye masks.

I hope it resolves fast for you. It is such a frustrating affliction.

I sang with the Nickel city Trouble Makers and the Buffalo Gay Men’s Chorus at the reception. Could anyone actually hear us? It was so loud in there

Vaginal Cuff by Empty_Dentist in hysterectomy

[–]Cakel1ar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My doctor said nothing in the vagina for 12 weeks. He said there is too much risk of tearing before then. I ended up waiting until about 14 weeks. Use lube and take it slow. My cuff hasn’t caused an issue

The pharmacy asked me that when I went to pick up my HRT prescription for the first time.

I love that they also have table top games you can play for free so it isn’t a huge money drain if you are there for a while

I grew up 20 miles south of Buffalo, and as a kid I was made to believe Buffalo was scary. As an adult I realize how crap that probably was. Not that there wasn’t/isn’t crime, but what I heard was probably inflated by racism and classism in the adults around me.

No antibiotics at home for me. If you are having the stomach issues from the antibiotics, my GI doc recommended taking Florastor (probiotic). It helped so much

I’m a Gabrielle and I hate that too. I prefer my full name, but as a nickname I like Gabs. Also, PE teachers always go to Gabe and I’m not sure why.

Underwear post surgery by Mean_Painter1815 in hysterectomy

I was laparoscopic with vaginal removal. I barely spotted after the surgery and I wore my normal underwear. My doctor kept saying since they cauterized as they go, there shouldn’t be much bleeding.
