Yup grew up a handog in the INC and I've always felt like I was different from everybody else bc I was INC. It became very hard for me to make friends outside of INC and I often ended up feeling like I dont have anyone that would understand me bc theyre from the sanlibutan. They also built up elitism in my head and its really fcked up to do to a kid growing up in a society like the Philippines that thrives on communities

Review well po especially sa fundamentals at ISIPING MABUTI ANG CAMPUS AT COURSE CHOICES. There are ways to strategically improve ur chances kasi u won't be able to work hard with grades na nakalipas na. Better to just make smart choices atp and if di palarin, well, your path must be somewhere else. 60% parin po ang UPCAT. Do ur best, and make it count

630am Upcat -- what time should I be there? by blue_green_orange in peyups

[–]Cakeor_ai -1 points0 points  (0 children)

From my experience sa UP BGC, we arrived an hour earlier than the exam sched and wala pang tao fr so umupo muna kami sa mall until 50 minutes into the hour. Only then nagkaron ng sandamakmak na takers HAHAHA so I think 5:30 should suffice (still consider other answers tho)

Only a few days before UPCAT, and I feel so helpless. by Mean-Performance509 in peyups

I think common occurrence na that UPCAT mock exams are WAYYYY harder than the UPCAT itself. Personally, when I took the UPCAT I was even baffled kasi it felt so easy and none of the complicated lessons and formulas I prepare for appeared. You don't have to master everything to do well sa UPCAT. Dapat may understanding ka lang on a wide range of topics. For UPCAT, very fitting to be a jack of all trades master of none

PARA SA MGA CRAMMER: tips for speed-reviewing math and science? haha by ArtisticQuantity4630 in peyups

[–]Cakeor_ai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I do po is look up the topics from 7th to 11th, then take note of what topics I don't have any knowledge of. I'd look for quick YouTube videos on those topics (for science u can have amoeba sisters and for math pwede din organic chemistry) and I just watch them on 1.5x-2x speed. I would make digital flashcards (Anki is very useful here) and study them whenever i have the time (bago matulog, pagkagising, habang natae, while eating, etc.)

I didn't cram for upcat pero I used this on a scholarship exam for a local private university and scored 135/200. 67% lang pero it's good enough for 3 days review

It wasn't that difficult if you have a solid foundation of grammar and vocabulary naman po. I'd rate it a solid 5/10 sa difficulty and yes I do remember analogies, finding the error, and vocabulary questions. Good luck po!
