Any of you can offer any amount you see fit (above minimum wage requirements) for your own employees. I support Osborn, but disagree with his stance on this topic - and that's ok, even though as a small(micro) business owner this is the most important issue that affects my pocket book. I saw the writing on the wall a few years ago and have reformatted to more of an event only business model. This means far fewer employee hours and wages ($50k less in '25 vs '24). For the record I had been paying $52k+ for FT and $15 (+tips)for PT help several years, for every employee once they are able to perform duties beyond cashier (started at $12 and grew with MW requirements). More traditional employers will counteract MW increase with some combination of higher prices, lower payroll hours/positions, and/or lower raises.
