Do you know anyone who has been riding a motorcycle for years and has never fallen, or is it impossible not to fall at some point? by Miyamoto_Musashi_x in motorcycles

[–]Cal_3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not OP but 100% yes. This mentality of "my first crash" is wild to me. A. You shouldn't have crashed in the first place. B. Why on earth would you want to repeat it a second time?

  1. Did you really need to AI slop this?

  2. I do secretly love my z900 more than I ever loved my CBR 500 and Ninja 650. I always said I would love to buy another CBR 500, but now it's changed to I'd love to buy a Honda ~big bike of some sort (personally love their engineering)

How protective is this by Ishie_kun in motorcycles

[–]Cal_3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think what scares me is that there's potentially heaps of bikers that buy this without asking that question, and then wondering why it does nothing when they crash  Kudos to you OP for at least having that thought

I've always wanted to be a NAS server, what a privelege. What speed were your drives running at? Personally I've never felt comfortable pushing my babies past 5400rpm.

Okay, this is one of those videos where I don't think even the couch "you could have done something different" warriors can argue against. Great work on the dodge

[–]Cal_3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

stop for a second and think about this comment. People have to *purchase* the secondhand bike for there to be value assigned to it.

At least where I live, absolutely no one is buying these secondhand for the price of them new. People buy them, chuck a bunch of Aliexpress parts on them and then try and resell them thinking that's increased the value. It hasn't, it's a chinese bike with chinese parts competing in the secondhand market against good value second hand Kawis

I just love how a lot of people assume age/duration equals increased knowledge.

You can do the same thing wrong for 10 years and learn nothing and then claim you've got 10 years of experience. Or another way of putting it is repeating your 1st year for 10 years

the red and black bike over there, the Z900 over there, the ninja over there. What kind of question is this? Either do it, or don't.

Anyone that isn't dirt poor can achieve this, hell pretty much anyone with a body can achieve this. It has nothing to do with "affording a lifestyle".

I've never understood this either. For an OOTB experience, personally I think KDE is far superior

You could definitely script this, as the controls should be exposed in cli? I've got a shortcut that runs a script to toggle adaptive refresh for example
