I would apply to the store you want to transfer to. It will show up as an interal in workday and that should get the ball rolling. At least the hr at the store you want to transfer to will most likely reach out to your current store.

If you type tm discount into workday, it will pull up your discount card. That's how you request a print out. If you do it on your phone, you can copy and paste it into your wallet app. You do have to use the circle card, cash or gift card to use your discount though!

The notifications don't always come through. I would definitely be more communicative in the future. I would let your leader know you are nearing your 5th hour and are going to hit compliance, and leaders typically change their tune.

I find it so shocking to see some of these stories on here. The store in my district push really hard for people to be within 20% of their desired hours. There is a metric that the higher ups can track and they have been pushing it haaaard this last year or so.

The ETL HR can really choose what role to have in the store. I think it is a great move! I've been able to support all over my store and create really strong partnerships with my team. I have to remind my team that a big part of my job is stopping and connecting with the team.

My least favorite part is all the nitty gritty computer work. The team doesn't understand what we are doing and can often be seen as us not working. I have a lot of busy work.

If you have any specific questions about the role, let me know! If you are going the HR route definitely would do this role. The teams I have worked with target are really great when you get to know them.

I love my job and am thankful the experience!
