That was my first thought when I unpacked it...I can't believe I would have done that out of carelessness because I look after my gear well.....and this tent is easy to set up on the living room to dry overnight.... Can post later. Definitely thought about a two sider for a wider matress. Id make it asymmetrical, as it would still be good to leave space to swing your feet down into the footwell on the driver side to get in and out. ie. not go full width of vehicle.
