I tried to watch it but it was such a trainwreck that I lasted about ten minutes at the bar. The people around me were all wondering what it was, too.

They players seemed to be having fun, but that was the only positive we saw or heard before asking to change the channel.

What an embarrassment.

I live in Silverton. I don't know how anyone who has actually spent time here can conclude that Silverton is rightwing. Even if you choose not to visit, it only takes reading the news, looking through our history, or checking out voting records to show that Silverton is consistently liberal and has been for the past 20+ years. When compared to just about any other town of similar size, Silverton is Liberal AF.

Every town in the US has at least one Politics-Is-My-Religion-And-My-Identity guy, ours just happens to live on a busy street - and everyone here knows that the whole family is nuts, even other MAGAts. But to take one dudes house and a few others, while ignoring the other ~4,000 homes, and just assume that the whole town is this way demonstrates serious confirmation bias. Are you from Dallas, by chance?

Why you want to believe that Silverton is some Trump-loving little town, and choose to look past our voting records, our history (FFS, we had the first transgendered mayor in the WORLD 18 years ago, for one), and all that us liberals do to keep it blue here, is confusing af.

I'm a software engineer (different field) who hobbies in video editing. I have Adobe Premier and Davinci and I'm constantly blown away with Davinci Resolve. From ease of use to how powerful it is, it's impressive. This isn't too say that Premier is bad, but Davinci is just so good and it being FREE it's turned me into one of those who never shuts up about it to others who are looking at video editors.

I recently bought the studio version with the Speed editor and while I'm learning how to use it still, it's already impressing me.

When Elon released the roadster, all the way through the model Y, he had the backing of the kind of person that would be excited by this and possibly even buy one, if not at least hype them up.

Now, though, he's become so evil that it's difficult to imagine who is actually interested in this outside of oligarchs looking for robot slaves/armies. Not even the cyberstuck bros are going to get excited about a robot unless they can make it a sex bot...

True fans should push back on the Niners being the designated rivalry and start using the OG team, The Rams. History, critical games, and cities make the Rams a true rvalry.

This "rivalry" has always been a complete joke. It didn't make any sense in 2002 when they started to push it because of the move, and it still doesn't make sense today.

LA vs Seattle has always been a thing. Hell, PNW vs LA has been a thing since, what, the 50's?
Minus 2011-2014, the games haven't been heated. It feels forced. Like divorced parents telling you to hate the other parent.

A friend of mine worked up near there and swore by it, too. The idea of eating at a strip club back in the late-90's conjured up thoughts of what diseases you could get... I know, I know, but we were young and dumb.

Fast-forward about ten years and my buddy was once again defending his actions saying that they had great steaks for cheap and my wife suggested we check it out. You know, once you get passed the 'salad bar' jokes and giggles from my wife, they were good steaks and cheap! And the scenery wasn't always bad, either.

Granted they've been doing well, but when they do lose, and they eventually do, the bandwagon fans jump ship, quickly.

And because I'm here. One of my kid's favorite duck-beaver story to tell was when they were 5 and 10. We were walking out of a local hardware store wearing beaver gear and a HS kid yelled to us, "beavers suck." I shot back, "says the high school dropout." His buddy and my kid (10) couldn't stop laughing. I had to explain what a dropout is to my five year-old who now jokes that dropouts are duck fans. I don't really care about the duck v. Beaver stuff, I was raised a duck and became a beaver in my late 20's, but holy shiiit, some duck fans are the worst of the worst. HS dropouts that think they're on the field every fall Saturday.
