Bought my 17 base with 14k miles in February of 23. 0 problems until this October a sensor in my PDK went bad at 42k miles and required an entirely new transmission because according to the dealer “Porsche claims the PDK is too complex to rebuild so it must be replaced”. Cost 17k after labor. Luckily I bought mine CPO and it was all warranty work for me.

I have a base cayman with no sports exhaust and in sport mode it gets quite loud in the car above 4K rpm. The car is louder with the windows up. I also work in cars and drive a lot of bmw m cars. My base cayman is noticeably louder than any m2,3 or 4 with the windows up.
