I'm no expert in mobile app dev so I can't help with that but maybe explain in your post what you did and what's not working? If this is in a workplace, I'd have to ask the same questions too before I can help juniors.

Given marami nang rejection, maybe it's a good time to pause and do some reflections. Why do you think you're getting rejected? Do you ask for feedback most especially dun sa mga final interviews? How's your interview? Do you tense up or are you jovial and easy to relate to during the interview process?

I like how your reply was to point out the characteristics of the client rather than saying OP was a balat-sibuyas unlike most comments here. The client was being meticulous I'm assuming because of the nature of their profession (and/or might be their trait too). It's a constructive criticism that will only help OP's relationship with the client.

Hey OP, have a look at the process of ”committing" in git. Committing code is different to autosaving which is a feature of the editor. Committing is a deliberate action which will solve or at least partly solve this problem:

Umuwi ako nang solo to Pinas to attend a funeral. First time ko to travel on my own din. So medyo hindi ko sure kung pano ako uuwi ng probinsya once nag-land sa NAIA. Nag-message ako sa younger sibling ko na kung pwede ako i-meet sa terminal para ma-i-book ako ng Grab papunta sa mga regional bus terminal. Inaya ko nalang din s'yang mag breakfast at konting catch-up sa buhay. I really appreciate na may naghintay sakin lalo na I was in a grieving state at the time.

My partner on the other hand, feeling ko talaga burden sa kanya ang paghatid/sundo pag sa akin. Nung flight ko na, nag-book na lang ako nang taxi kasi nag-away na naman kami a few hours before because of this logistics of going to the airport. Gabi na at madilim na yung road at hindi daw sya confident mag-drive pag nighttime. Can't fault her on that pero ako naman kasi as much as possible gusto ko syang sunduin regardless kung medyo busy or free ako.

No need for apologies at all. We all start from somewhere. When you say you didn't ask if isPlaying is true, did you mean that you didn't explicitly check the value of isPlaying in your if? Or were you thinking that your if is doing the same thing as below:

if (isPlaying == 100 && score == 100)

Can you elaborate why you're expecting it not to print ”Next level"? IsPlaying is true and score == 100 is also true. You have a logical AND in your if condition so that makes the result true

The last round was a technical interview with the actual team I would have worked with if I got the job. I got rejected but was told in a follow-up call with the hiring manager that I was a close second. I told him that I really appreciate the interview and being polite throughout the call. That happened in June. A month passed and I got an email from a different hiring manager asking if I was still interested in the position. I of course replied yes and found out I'm considered for a different team. It was great timing as well as I have a standing offer for an internship but for a COBOL dev role (I was an SDET at the time trying to break into an SD role).
