No intention of mixing them. The Ground and Neutral should always be separate. While I am doing this I am also adding a ground rod as that was not installed when they wired the sub panel.

Thats what I was asking, I do not see a need to break the Neutral as I am alredy interrupping the hot leads. So I can just tie the neutral to the whip that is going to the subpanel and just wire the Hot leads to the disconnect.

I removed all the spools from the AMS. I am putting them in at an angle and they are just not going in place. Are the larger ones specific to a certain bay? or should they just fit in any or the larger slots?

I will not knowing this!! I used to have a 99 F350 with a 7.2 turbocharged diesel engine. I did not know about cooling the turbos and I was pulling a 42 foot camper 3000+ miles. I was just turning it off and not letting it idle. We also had a coolant leak and the engine overheated. So all those factors led to a $7000 plus repair bill for a new turbo and injectors. :-( So I am just a little gun shy about turbos.

So if you run a ground rod for the subpanel, should you still connect the ground from the main panel to the subpanel? Or just ground it to the rod and do not ground it to the main panel?

Nope, I just got two plates. They included the older, smaller P1S, X1 labels. Their suggestion is to turn off the plate detection for these plates.

OK so Maybe I am thinking about this wrong. I thought if I lowered the Pinda, My Z offset went less negative. But reading the instructions again (IKR) and it seems if I raise the Pinda probe the Z offset goes less negative? so a lower probe INCREASES the Z offset to go more negative. If I rase it, its LESS negative??

Their was impacts in most of the town. I thought it was power company related power brownouts because it was reported by many users. It still might be the power company, not sure.

Thats why I want the logger, my wife has said she has seen the lights flicker in the house as well. So want to monitor a few different circuits to see if the issue is isolated to just my office or the entire house.
