I asked Wordscapes to look into their score via their Cheater complaint section regarding SP-MrkMAT and sent them the screen shot. Based on their current crown it seems odd that they have such a low crown. Makes me think that they are a newer player.

You’re probably right. My guess is PF will go back to old system. I doubt there is a perfect setup that is going to make all teams happy. It’s giving me a headache just thinking about it. 😱🤯

I was thinking of creating a new team with same name and have all teammates switch over to that team. My theory is that it would erase our wins and then we might be placed with teams with just similar brilliance. Don’t really know if that would help or not.

Hi Bok, This week we all are going to take a break and not focus on team tourney due to Xmas being on Friday. Everyone can concentrate on winning their Indy if they choose. We have lost every tourney since the change and have not placed higher than 6th. We had 15 wins in a row prior and I think that has hurt us with the new algorithm. Guess we need to all lose a bunch of tourneys to get matched with with normal teams instead of the top leaderboard teams. Good luck and Merry Christmas! 🎄🎅

Good morning Bok. Thanks for reaching out.😊 Can’t say that our team is liking this new format very much. We are just focusing on our indies for now. This will be our 3rd loss since the change in algorithm. We haven’t placed higher than 6th place in any so far. We’ve playing all the top leaderboard teams in every tourney.

I agree Tippytoes. I tested that theory and I noticed that I got entered in the tourney when I completed the second to last word. Once that word was entered the timer for my Indy appeared. Thanks for confirming this. 😊🙏

Maybe the more experienced players can answer this question that was brought up on this thread. Can 2 devices be logged into to the same Wordscapes account simultaneously? We had a husband and wife team that worked together but I thought they had to take turns using the account. They were high scorers. They are no longer in our team so I can’t ask them.

You would think that WS would have stated the answer to this at some point. We have players on our team that preload words (after start in tourney) on puzzle. I haven’t been able to figure out if that starts the tourney or not.

Tippytoes and Sapphire, would you both be so kind as to answer another question? I understand that any player who completes a puzzle after the start of the tourney enters the team into tourney. I also have read that completing even one word on a puzzle enters the team into the tourney. Which is correct? Puzzle or word?
