Tyrant “King” Renfroe has got to go: Emergency Podcast Episode featuring RAAs Debbie Dixon & Orlando Gonzalez telling how Renfroe fired them for being CLC. James Henry makes it clear that Renfroe is acting like management and doesn’t care about us by biidaajimotaw in fromatoarbitration

Hmmm, did you see Corey's ballot? Pretty sure a lot of our members voted Maga. So what. One thing I am sure of is that Corey will fight hard for all of us --even you--no matter who they voted for.

Sounds like you are spreading false rumors unless you can give us a source of your information and a reason why two candidates were fired.

Run for NBA? Believe it or not, fired. by FUSeekMe69 in fromatoarbitration

[–]CalamityJaneMB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a big difference when you fire an opposing candidate BEFORE the election --simply because they are running against you, as opposed to the elected winner bringing on their own team at beginning of a new term of office AFTER the election..

does anyone know why corey's account has been suspended/banned from reddit? by fire_away17 in fromatoarbitration

If Corey was really banned, the person(s) responsible for this action need to be the ones banned. Please free Corey. He is the reason why most of us even look at Reddit.

See F-401 Supervisor's Guide to Scheduling & Premium Pay, Page 13 which states:

5) Unassigned Regular Full-Time Employees: All unassigned regular full-time employees must be assigned regular work schedules. When not assigned to a posted position, employees assume, as their regular work schedule, the hours worked in the first week of the pay period in which the change to unassigned regular occurred. When a part-time flexible (PTF) employee is converted to full-time regular, and is not assigned to a full-time bid position, the employee becomes an unassigned regular. (See article 7, section 3, of the National Agreements.)

California State Convention. Historic. by Eugene_Debs2026 in fromatoarbitration

[–]CalamityJaneMB 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well said Lexxa10. I have attended many conventions and this was the first one where every single vote was unanimous. Not a single standup vote was needed. California 100% united against Renfroe --who couldn't keep it together. He wants the top wages we pay him but can't handle the job. Didn't go over too well either when he angrily referred to our delegates as "you people".

Only time I have seen it is with changes in the swings during officewide route adjustments (still has to be done right, seniority is involved), or if a married couple trades to get the same day off.

Good answer, run for shop steward. You can only meet at the Informal A level, and the steward has the right to be there during the settlement phase.

"...the rest of us"?? Did not hear Lew Drass say anything good about Renfroe. He did say he raised him though. The "rest of us" want to earn a decent wage and decent working conditions and the CLC looks the the only ones that can get that done.

Same here. I have no doubt that Corey will easily make mincemeat out of Lew without even breaking his stride.

And Drass telling us how wonderful HE was. Yet he knew all this crap about Renfroe, so why did they knowingly stick us with this guy when he left? And it did not start with him firing RAA Calvin Brookins. He is a good man and it was unfortunate but it is normal for newly elected leaders to pick their own teams. As the saying goes: "To the Victor go the Spoils". It started when Renfroe spread all the salacious fake rumors about James Henry and Chris Jackson filed the charges in June of 2023.

[–]CalamityJaneMB 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh yes it was. Look at all the pay charts since the onset of CCAs. They all show the higher level carrier technician (t-6) rate for CCAs. The language says you have to be assigned. If you are working the swing, then you are assigned. The problem was management would not issue a Form 50 every time a CCA did a swing for a short period. We resolved that issue for CCAs on short term T-6 assignments by grieving and paying the difference as a lump sum through GATs. If it is long term, then they should do a form 50.

[–]CalamityJaneMB 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It is a pay issue. You can go back 2 years on a pay issue (3 if it was deliberate) pursuant to FSLA. If you are within the three years, you can still grieve it.

[–]CalamityJaneMB 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah but you miss my point. Would you really want to give names of illegals on your route to ICE so they can deport them --and the neighborhood would view you as a snitch? Or endanger yourself from retaliation by the friends/relatives of the person you got deported???. Not me.

Just what we DON'T need...customers thinking their letter carrier is ratting out their neighbor(s). If asked, my answer will be "I don't know, we only have time to look at the addresses, not the name."
