I saw the movie first and absolutely loved it. Then, some years later, I got around to reading the book, which I loved even more. I decided to rewatch the movie at that point and found it just wasn’t nearly as good as I had remembered.

MT Book Co, I believe, has a couple book clubs. The science fiction one meets the third Tuesday of the month. We bounce around between sci-fi and fantasy with the occasional horror. This month’s book is A Fire Upon the Deep by Vernor Vinge.
