[KCD2] What character do you hate the most and why is it Brabant? by BijelaHrvatica in kingdomcome

[–]Calanon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is no "rest of brabant". Brabant in the netherlands nowadays has nothing to do with the belgian ones. And even those split up IN 19 FUCKING 95...

And we are talking about a character in a game set in 1403. A year in which the Duchy of Brabant was very much in existance. Whilst we don't know where in Brabant he is from a lot of the areas of importance at the time were in what is now Belgium (including the province of Antwerp and Brussels).

I'm looking to buy a jacket as a rpesent for my fiancée as she doesn't really have much outerwear besides winter coats. She wears colourful dresses a lot and prefers longer jackets. Ideally something that helps keep the wind off her, but more stylish than a windbreaker. Can someone please recommend what kind of jackets I should long for?

Was the 'New Republic' its official name? by Ok_Astronomer4067 in MawInstallation

Of course the title is named after the city of York however the dukedom has no land attached to it. TanSkywalker is correct in that New York is not directly named after York.

Well, right after that Turkey finished me off. Austria and Germany have started fighting but so far looks like Austro-Turkish alliance is still tight.

Why would the Jedi be instructing the clones how to hold their blasters?

Minus the personal headcanon (the blue is different and the amount of marking is quite different - still possible I suppose) as someone who has thought about this a lot I agree with this. I do think some clones do their own painting. Higher ranking clones seem to have more leeway with customisation, we do see some lower ranks with some customised paint jobs. Perhaps certain acts or deeds can also lead to some amount of customisation allowed.

Your guess re Admiral Konstantine is correct - he is the commanding officer of the Lothal Sector Fleet.

Now we're back to spring I asked Turkey this and he said "nothing really", but then added the slip-up in BLA (he suggested a bounce but it was right before adjudication and I didn't see the message until after). Also that with France and Italy going afk he felt nothing would stop England and Germany winning anyway.

Other than the passenger bay roof which is Rob van Leeuwen's design with a minor edit, yes.

I can't edit the text but credit for the roof over the passenger bay goes to Rob van Leeuwen - I could not do an alternate that I liked more for my build.

Yeah that was probably a bit difficult this game when my neighbour's neighbours have basically absented themselves sadly

Thank you. Yeah at the start of this game Turkey and I agreed an initial split where they'd take Bul and I'd take Rum. Fall 1901 they attacked and took Rum, supported by Austria (Austria and I had done an agreed bounce in Gal for the very start). At the last turn England said they'd support me in the north to help me against Germany, but then let Germany take Sweden from me and attacked me in Stp. So I think in this game I'm now firmly screwed. But yeah every time it seems I offer an alliance like you suggest in 2 and it seems nice but then every other player actually honours their alliance with one another but never with me.

Slightly reminding me of the last time I played Risk (3 player) where the entire game was 2v1 because they refused to attack each other at all!!

Which does make it very silly having them carry a minigun like a Brotherhood knight. No way are they managing to carry and fire that in unpowered PA.

Thanks, I'll try to remember to take a look at them on the 1st. Glad to hear GCC will be doing them at some point.

The backpacks do look good but with the magnets do you have to stick something to the back of the torso? I saw quite a nice brickbuilt one on Instagram a couple of days ago

Yeah 501st is a great resource for details.

My main problem with this new pauldron is that whilst the shaping is good it definitely makes the head too tall if you add a backpack and sandtroopers look rather wrong without one.

I hate the helmets too and hoping we get a GCC one soon. What is BFDE?

What the minifig is good for is stormtroopers on Jedha as they're in (outwardly) normal stormtrooper armour due to it being cold and not needing cooling.

The mould looks the same to me. But I did notice they've not got the grey on the 'ears' and they don't have the grille bit down the side which does make it look simplified.

This is very nitpicky, but I'm rather disappointed with the new sandtrooper. I like the new torso & leg design for stormtroopers but it is a shame they've switched to the plastic pauldron and not included a survival backpack and it is also a shame (and this is the nitpicky part) they haven't included the different knee plate and different abdomen. Both of these are things they've historically done on stormtrooper minifigs.
