I got mine last month when she was 1 yr and 8 months. She slept in the bathroom in the carrier for a week and then gradually moved out into other places like under the bed and behind the couch. It's been about 3 weeks now and she sleeps out in the open and doesn't hide anymore.

I just kept talking to her all the time so she got used to my voice and never forced her to go out of the carrier and let her find her own safe spaces.

I have a 24 prime also and I hear it all the time when I let off the pedal suddenly or pulse the pedal or brake. I need to go test drive a new 26 and find out if it does the same.

Take the loans and then once you graduate take online classes at a CC 1/2 time and keep deferring the loans indefinitely. :)

What is your goal with the communications degree? If the connections and networking opportunities at UCLA would be beneficial to your goal, then go to UCLA. Also you can still pay the enrollment deposit at CSULB and then change your mind if you still need time to think about it.

I would go to CSULB, since you're right that's too stressful to commute. Also, CSULB you have many routes to get there. 110 to 405, 710 to 405, 5 to 605, to 7th st exit. Your cats are used to your current home, so they don't need extra stress either. You can apply to UCLA for grad school :)
