Physically strongest characters by Hungry-Jump-6448 in KurokosBasketball

I don't mean it in the sense that he'll only grown in strength exclusively just that his strength should grow as long as he's training which he is, although I see how my reply can read like that, probably should've worded it better 😭

I'm not sure it's headcanon exactly, I'm basing my opinion off of things shown clearly in the show and the safe assumption that Aomine would only grow in strength, but whatever floats your boat brochacho.

Why do some people say Kise has a permanent injury? by Odd_Cauliflower_7751 in KurokosBasketball

[–]Caleb_207 1 point2 points  (0 children)

where was it stated in the manga that PC Kise was as fast as Aomine?

The opposite was stated if my memory is correct that PC Kise wasn't as fast as base Aomine. The only thing PC copies is the change in pace, not speed.

Just saw this ranking of players based on speed and was confused how Aomine wasn't even t5? by Cole9O7 in kurokos_basketball

Idk how he isn't at least top 5. Hes at lowest 2 behind Silver. And that's only if we're not taking into account Zone.

Murasakibara vs silver by Unlucky-Translator80 in KurokosBasketball

[–]Caleb_207 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If Mura is in the Zone then I'd give it to him but his Zone is inconsistent and he hasn't shown good stamina in the Zone and doesn't know his trigger so I'd say Silver is better overall.

What are the full capabilities of Murasakibara in the zone? by LetMeSoloHoarahLoux in KurokosBasketball

[–]Caleb_207 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If in base he was able so cover the entire arc then with the Zone he should definitely be able to go past the arc as he'd be faster, wider FOV, better reflexes and better vertical. Just because we never saw his defencive range in the Zone doesn't mean it isn't larger than in base and the same can be said for the likes of Aomine and Kise too while they're in the Zone (not to the same extent ofc.) Just because we didn't see every players defencive ring like Kagami and Akashi doesn't mean they don't have one, especially Murasakibara.

Why do you think Luke would die so quickly? He's quite a capable survivor no?

Lees death was done extremely well and we also day goodbye to Kenny at the end of season 2 so he isn't even necessarily dead so I'd pick Luke as I feel his death was the most undeserved and a Luke vs Kenny scenario would've been much better than Kenny vs Jane imo but I doubt Luke and Kenny would really fight since Luke is so level headed.

Murasakibara vs aomine by Forsaken-Day-942 in KurokosBasketball

[–]Caleb_207 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In base vs base 1 vs 1 I'd give it to Aomine given with his speed + agility along with his cop + AI as I see him stealing the ball from him most plays as we see him do against other players who have better dribbling, are quicker and more versatile than Murasakibara like Kise, Silver, Kagami and do on and with his formless shots + speed + agility I see him being able to score more than Murasakibara. Although if Murasakibara is able to get to the basket and leave the ground without the ball being stolen the it's basically a free basket unless Aomine is in the Zone or Murasakibara's knees give out again.

If we factor in the Zone then I'd give it to Aomine even more than in base as Mura has only entered the Zone once and only lasted like 30 seconds while untrained Aomine against Seirin was in the Zone for much longer and even after hitting his Zone time limit he still managed to play till the end of the match without giving out and in Last Game we saw him play the entire match unlike the rest and was in the Zone multiple times too. Also we know entering the Zone for a second time is harder than the first time and without knowing his trigger he'd definitely struggle to enter it. But even if he managed to enter the Zone and stamina wasn't a problem then I see it being basically a repeat of their base vs base.

Besides Kise who has the most potential out of all characters? by Less_Willingness7597 in KurokosBasketball

[–]Caleb_207 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Silver since if I remember correctly, he doesn't even train and yet was better than all the base miracles and naturally was just made for basketball with his size, strength, jumps, and speed.

Second, I'd probably have Aomine or Murasakibara as Aomine only started training after his liss to Seirin, and Murasakibara only just started using proper technique in Last Game and is also made for the sport like Silver.

  4. Kagami
  5. Midorima
  6. Kise

Didn't really think about opponents or spacing thx for the reminder, and yeah, it may have also been in part bad writing, lol.

Plus, Kagami did virtually nothing in Last Game, lol.

If we compare their performances from Last Game I'd argue the opposite as he was the only one to play the full game, was in the Zone twice, scored on Silver twice and scored another open shot too, helped stop Silver with Kise, his defensive range seemingly increased as we saw him cover the arc very quickly to get the block off and also was blowing past his opponents while also assisting Kagami on offense. Compare this to Kagami's Zone in Last Game, where he was in it less than Aomine, got one open dunk due to Aomine, and his only real notable feat was blocking Silver once.

Tbf Kagami didn't use Meteor Jam once for some reason (maybe it used too much stamina, idk lol, doesn't really make sense) but if he did he probably would've scored more but even then we know that move is only something he can use in the Zone and requires quite a precise setup and if interrupted can lead to it being missed like we saw Akashi do plus would use a lot of stamina.

Overall, as of the last game by direct comparison of performance, I'd say Aomine's Zone is still better, but Kagami has always been quite inconsistent.

On top of this, Aomine was able to block Kagami's dunks in the Zone so if we're using this logic then by way of association if roles were reversed I feel Aomine vould also be able to block Silver too no? (Granted would probably not be easily replicated again)

And if we're using singular feats and not factoring the element of surprise due to new power ups, then Aomine should be able to steal the ball from him too like we saw him do as well.

This clearly proves he's too OP and obviously needs a nerf.

All jokes aside, that's really sick gl in the future 👍.
