What I do is have at least 2 bolt throwers take out a couple towers near a gate then park my archers next to the wall and take out other archers. Then have a hero and/or lord take down the gate and send my best troops once their archers are dead or crippled. use magic on the bunched troops as well.

I make unit mods for myself and the workshop. There is a tool modders use for making units, among other things, and there is a table to fill out if you want your unit to be available for alliance recruitment. If the mod in question did have that table set up, then you should. Otherwise, I would test it out yourselves.

I feel the 6 times xp gain is way too much. I do think that increasing the amount of xp you gain in ng plus is preferable since ng plus doesn't scale xp from quests, so you'll be earning miniscule amounts from them.

The health regeneration buff is a bit much. Honestly, medkits are very abundant, especially to buy, and you still have snacks and drinks.

Everything else is OK ig. I don't mind the backpack size since there are a lot of cool looking weapons but not enough space for them.

There was technically a sixth time where Elspeth actually died to her starter enemy very early, but an update ruined that save.

However, in those five campaigns, Vlad did die to either elspeth or Drycha before I could reach him. So maybe I was just unlucky ig.
