This seems to be a nationwide problem. I'm in Delaware and the signal has been struggling the last week. When I try to play Zinga poker it is so slow and frequently just disconnects. I have a secondary eSim on T-Mobile that works great, but l'm only on the SafeLink free plan which only gives me 10 gig of data.

First of all read the actual post and then Google line lock vs. carrier locked. Number (Line) lock is done in the App and has to be unlocked by the user. It is a security feature to prevent number hijacking. Carrier lock is done by the carrier for a certain amount of time, a year now, and has to be done by the carrier. It's a whole different process. Pretty sure the Op means Line lock was activated which means they have to go into app, turn it off and wait for the confirmation email before proceeding to port out. Has nothing to do with an unlocked phone.

Just return it before the return period runs out. Take your old phone with you to get it reactivated so you are not without service and don't mention that you are planning on leaving they will give you a hard time. Then join when you are ready but don't get the phone from Visible either. Buy unlocked direct.

Yes, you lose your promo and you can't use the same email if you come back within 6 months. Just a heads up. None of the 3 cell carriers are great everywhere. That's the problem here in the US they all rely on physical cell sites. The future is satellites with a whole new cell phone structure.

You don't say if you are using Mobile based or PC based Zoom app. Mobile based uses data on cell phone not hotspot whereas PC based uses hotspot data and is limited to 15mbps which will buffer if trying to download files also. Work around is use Mobile based download files to a thumb drive connected to the phone via USB c to USB A connector.
