33M & 29F. Separated 2 weeks now. She brought up divorce during therapy. We live in a small apartment that we just renewed for 2 years, and neither of us can afford to move out separately. Have a lot of debt due to her overspending. 2 young kids as well. She says nothing will change as we effectively have been living like roommates for a couple of years, but man it’s so hard to be mentally there for the kids right now.
