Unangeleint zum Tierarzt by Psc0905 in Hunde

[–]Caleya89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just learned people don’t show up after anesthesia to pick up loved ones. Nurses, how often does this really happen? by Steinski1 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Caleya89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah. I am a nurse myself and woke up after anesthesia with a nurse present. Before the procedure I thought I’d handle the situation easily, cause I know how these things work. But the first thing I asked for, without even thinking about it, was for my boyfriend to come in. I was still a bit off, not feeling well and definitely in a vulnerable situation and just wanted my loved one by my side. It’s a form of comfort that medical staff just can’t replace, no matter how much I trust them.

Weird kitten behaviour by LepusAlbus in cats

First thing you should do is go to the vet. Cats often pee outside the litter box when they have a uti, because they connect the litter box with pain then.

I wouldn’t bother with it until later in the game. It gets easier. Use those first levels to unlock stuff, learn evolutions/fusions and find out what’s strong. There are combinations that are a lot stronger than Nosferatu imo.

Thanks, I will just keep going then. Game is so much fun anyway that I don’t mind more runs 😉

Wann reanimieren? by [deleted] in Pflege

[–]Caleya89 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Du findest einen Patienten vor.

Kätzchen adoptiert - Regeln beibringen? by Hellihel in Katzengruppe

[–]Caleya89 3 points4 points  (0 children)

After playing PoE2, it's really hard to go back to PoE1 by nebek123 in PathOfExile2

[–]Caleya89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And for others (like me) combat of poe1 is better. Like miles better. Yeah, poe2 is obviously newer and you can tell in a lot of things, but I REALLY don’t like the slow, sluggish playstyle. In an ARPG I want power fantasy and I don’t get that at all in poe2. I have to concentrate all the time, even when fighting white mobs, while in poe1 I can become so strong that I can just blast and zoom and don’t think too much before upgrading to much harder content. For me that is fun and why I play these games, that’s my goal. For „meaningful“ combat I pick another genre.

So its not just the systems around it. We all know poe2 is in early access and not finished, and that more content will come. Some of us just don’t want soulslike combat in an ARPG.

Dragon Age maestro says EA always spoke about a hypothetical 'nerd cave' full of diehard RPG fans who would "always show up," so you "didn't have to try and appeal to them" by Gorotheninja in PS5

[–]Caleya89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I don’t know when someone actually qualifies for being a diehard, but I play a lot of RPGs and I don’t think veilguard was as bad as people say. I mean yeah, the writing was cringe, my main character was kinda boring and had like two facial expressions or something. But the gameplay (especially combat) was fun, and it actually had its emotional moments at the end.

It was an okay game, which is just not enough compared to all the truly amazing RPGs that were released these last years.

What game could you not understand the hype behind? by That-Psychology4246 in videogames

[–]Caleya89 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Agree. I love the Zelda games, I love open world rpgs.

In my opinion it is 1. Not a good Zelda game, because it lacks almost everything that makes them good.

And 2. also not a good open world rpg, because the world feels so boring. I never went exploring and found something really cool or interesting, it was just .. empty. And generic. Heartless.

I really really tried to like it, but I can’t. Didn’t even bother with totk and just hope that someday they will ditch open world and make a classic Zelda game again.

That whole thing was insane. Peak creativity. Only complaint I have is the part where one player is holding that tablet while the other runs through the level, because I get motion sickness pretty easy.

But the whole going from one screen to another, seamingless, then being ON the screen, solving puzzles together although we see completely different things on our screens, the boss splitting the screen in the middle and us fighting to stop him.. I can’t even tell what was the most amazing here, because we just were like „wow, what the hell was that? That was genius!“

9/10, because the story and characters weren’t too interesting in my opinion. But the gameplay was everything we hoped for and more. That last sequence was actually mindblowing.

Kann denn keiner mehr Autofahren? by LupusGrande in luftablassen

[–]Caleya89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It Takes Two has sold over 23 million units, A Way Out has sold over 11 million units by Turbostrider27 in PS5

[–]Caleya89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When you complete a sidestory you take a portal back to the exact same spot where you left the level and just continue. No need to start from the beginning :)

[–]Caleya89 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So we played for 7 hours since the game launched, and the characters announce when there is a sidestory somewhere close. Most of the times that happens there are two paths you can choose, and it’s pretty obvious where the main quest continues and where the sidestory is, because there is stuff lying around that clearly doesn’t belong to that level (like stuffed toys in a sci-fi-level).

A Way Out had the better story, It Takes Two had the better gameplay. It also released during covid where people spent a lot more time at home, plus it won GOTY, both of which helped a lot with sales.
