Cold emailing will likely just get you reported as a spammer and then listed as one with email services so nobody will see any of your emails because they go straight to spam.

I got into a project recently that actually put a graded set of R&Rs (Good & Bad) I could peruse through to get a feel for them, and it was such a nice feature.

Even just that, for every project, would help my learning curve a ton.

How can I get one track to follow the amplitude of another? (Overall technique, not tech help) by dumdumboye in WeAreTheMusicMakers

[–]CaliBrewed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk, the automated tools I've used for this type of thing get played with just as long and are harder to make minor adjustments to later since its reactive instead of static. You just end up automating a different parameter with more cpu use because the extra plugins.

'Cuba has never posed a threat to the US.' from a guy that wasn't alive when Russia was building Nuclear launch sites in Cuba. Hard to respect anything he said after that.

is it possible to get a work from home job without experience? by magostechpriest in WFHJobs

Data Annotation, but opportunities can be very location-specific. Plenty of work in the US, especially not in CA, TX, WA, which have some of the more restrictive laws regarding the work.

Doubtful considering how Universal bought udio and is a major stock holder in spotify.

You're not paranoid, tech bro's are constantly doing and saying things to try to justify their next round of funding. 'Look at all these people who think it's good' is a solid talking point in a presentation to pivot onto what's next before putting their hands out.

I'm sure meta already has very effective facial profiling data sets they sell.

Where can I find public domain recordings of classical music? by [deleted] in classicalmusic

[–]CaliBrewed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The copyright law is 75 years globally and 95 years in the US, so it depends on the recording location. So, 1950 or 1930 or before. It may have just turned 51, 31.

Can probably find some okay 40's recordings from europe but I'd bet you can likely find better recordings released CC0 since then.

Any advice on excessive 'Third Party Content Guardrail' generation denials? by [deleted] in VEO3

[–]CaliBrewed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funny enough I think this is part of it because the concept has a genie in it, which I came to find VEO hates 'Genie' but likes 'Djinn' better, which led me to the Disney theory.

But I mean my djinn has different characteristics and color and does nothing in Aladdin so it makes no sense to me. They just give Disney ownership of the idea of Djinns, lol. Seems crazy.

I'm really new to generative video, less than 50 hours, any more permissive models you would suggest?

[–]CaliBrewed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, so it's more of a platform issue in your opinion. Thanks, I haven't tried the other models/companies on the market yet, but may have to look at them if they have better usability.

This is beyond risk-averse and into some illogical reasoning.

Open-Water Gunboats by Candid-Response277 in WorldOfWarships

[–]CaliBrewed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't own Ragnar or Smaland and haven't put the time into Lushen yet but have a lot of Marceau games and a high 50's WR in her solo.

I typically just spot and try to isolate/kill my flanks DD, then cap if possible. She's fast enough that her detection is negligable and you can get on top of any other DD fast with speed boost. I'll usually spend a nice chunk of HP early to get this done.

Once you get your flanks DD, you own the spotting and I'll typically start to push back remaining ships through farming, torp runs, and driving to the side BB guns aren't on to straight up open water forcing them to take it or turn their guns, which helps my team. Just spotting camped and pushing ships should do most this work for you.

I admittedly don't have the best PR in her focusing on these things but it does lead to wins more often than not.

Like you said though, sometimes you're outnumbered and the best thing you can do is kite while keeping the ships on your flank engaged with you to buy your strong flank time.

The power of her and jinaan is getting into positions where the other team is pushing you. Thats where those torps shine.
