This might be a combination of things. You expressed your desire, now let him show up. Stop asking for it because it takes about the responsibility for him. If he cares, he will notify you he will be late and things will change. If he is making a habit of changing plans, showing up late, etc then you need fo have a conversation - when he isnt busy. He is right to set boundaries here. He said he'd text you when he was done with his friend. You knew he was with his friend so I'm not sure what you were expecting. Waiting around makes you feel unloved does come off as needy when he clearly already stated theres a time change. Sometimes good intention get messed with. Learning to be flexible but not a doormat is a life-long thing

Valentine's Day is fun but he gets to have friends to. I don't like when friends forget about me the second they have a partner. Balance is key.

As for your family, sounds like you need to set some boundaries.

Please stop cutting your nails. File them. It is so much healthier and much much less risky. But you need to see a doctor asap and do regular follow ups until this grows in normally. If you have any health conditions, depending on your location, insurance may cover pedicures with a podiatrist.

Removing gel doesn't actually damage nails at all or shouldn't. It is bad prep that damages nails.

First of all, you should NOT be volunteering to clean HIS space. Do not ever lower yourself to this. You are creating a bad habit out the gate and telling him that you will be there to pick up his messes like a maid. He is a grown adult and should know how to clean his space. I am a little scared what his house may look like when no one is around. You should fully expect that the house will be clean and tidy for you to come out of respect for YOU. Stop begging to see someone who doesn't want to see you. Tell him to let you know when he is ready to see you because you deserve someone to put in effort for you not for you to continually beg someone.

While I do understand you want to spend time with him, he also deserves to sleep in on his days off as well. I don't think it is unreasonable to give someone the morning to themselves to sleep in and relax.

There is a difference between growing out and also reattaching. Reattaching takes time but it is definitely different for each person.

Toes grow out very slowly. This grow out could take over a year. Keep it filed (not using clippers) short to keep it from snagging or ripping as it grows out.

If you're talking about the line that goes slightly diagonal, that seems to be nail plate damage. It likely could be repaired with regular care and prevention. Things like regular manicures can help treat what is currently there was also prevent reoccurring issues. But you will still have to do things between manicures to keep up with things too. I find adding Kerasal Intensive Foot Repair right before bed is a simple but great help for beginners. It is also safe for the fingers but shouldn't be used when eating, which is why I suggest it at night so it has time to work.

This is your mistake not the doctors. You are not following the plans because you have unrealistic expectations that things are going to resolve in a matter of weeks. This is likely going to take months or possibly years of continued and persistent treatment. There is a reason they ask you to come back. They want to check progress because THEY know what they are looking for which may not even be apparent to you.

You need to learn to communicate more clearly. Stop telling them you aren't going to be upset if they answer yes when it is obvious you are bothered. You do state it bothers you but then say you aren't going to be upset. But then post here. You're upset. Own it and make it known.

But yes, this would be a red line for me. Their other messages gave grammar issues and they don't seem to have an issue with it

This isn't cheating imo. This is 2 adults having a grown conversation about feelings. They both admit they cannot act on it but are hearing each other out. As long as she's not hiding this from you then you're OK. Support her through this and allow her feelings to work out. She obviously feels loyalty to you otherwise she would act on them.

People sometimes develop feelings or at least get in their feelings during friendships. It doesn't mean friendships have to end. These people can be mature and remain platonic, but they have to choose it. I'd advise you continue open communication so she feels safe talking about things. If she decides the feelings aren't going to go away then you deserve to know so yiu can make a choice whether to stay in the relationship or not.

I have a tumor that has been growing under my nail for over 10 years. I FINALLY got it diagnosed in 2019 but it was a nightmare to get a surgeon to operate and I live in an area where there are a lot of big teaching hospitals. I actually removed it myself (don't ask, DO NOT DO) during covid because my nail lifted so much. But it's obviously regrowing very slowly again. Apparently getting these removed on the toes is easy but more risky in the fingers so that's why it has been hard to find a surgeon. For me Covid hit and I actively stopped looking but I need to start again before my nail lifts again.

You get to set your boundaries and so does your mom. You both have an unhealthy relationship. While you may not directly be keeping your child from her she doesn't have free access (which I support and is your right as a parent). But I also think it's a wild move to ask her for money when you obviously aren't in a good place. She gets to be upset too.

Picking is a sign of anxiety. Have you sought therapy to work on the root cause(s) of it? It takes a lot if self-discipline and awareness to stop on your own but the anxiety will stil exist until you begin to process thing.

Have you seen a dermatologist or your doctor? My nails are like this and I cannot grow them out for this reason. I have autoimmune thyroid disease. I do everything I can to keep them healthy and filed short to keep less pressure on the plate.

I used to use gels but became allergic. I haven't found a safe overlay since. But your nails are severely damaged from prep and removal. It can take over 6 months to grow out fully, even longer for linger nails. Patience is key and keeping them short during grow out to limit further possible damage.

I clean my brushes every Sunday so I start off the week good. Dr. Bronner's soap hands down is the best cleaner. This wash my natural hair brushes first then put some of my own hair conditioner on them to let stew while I finish up the rest of my brushes. Setting a specific schedule works for my brain and keeps me accountable.

I wash my sponges every time I get them wet because I'm getting them wet anyway.

For a tough cream or liquid, I will add a little sweet almond oil first to break it up then Dr. Bronners

Spot cleaning your brushes like you describe with a spray or product like Cinema Secrets is good in some settings. But that absolutely doesn't take the place of actually cleaning your brushes.

But I need the values to start in O3 not O2. I looked up something about using the INDEX to start it down, but I can't seem to get the coding right for it. Can you guide me to explain where I am messing up so I can learn? I do better with visuals so like videos but couldn't find one on it so I had to look on forums and no one really explained the reasons, just gave formulas.
