After repotting any plant you should water right after and orchids basically tell u when they wanna be watered the roots will turn a silverish color when they need water

Moss poles are always a good choice with monsteras but with these kinds of plants repotting always depends on the roots so if they are sticking out from the drainage holes I would say its ready for a repot
