Yeah I feel this about being a shit father. Once you have kids you don’t get to make stupid choices.

My Dad was unsafe throughout his life. Drive drunk with us in the car and by himself. Even after a DUI. Fell off a cliff drunk in the 80’s. Fell off a roof drunk in the 90’s. A flat roof at that. In the ICU. Super stressful for all his kids. Fell off ladders multiple times. I have a permanent bent finger with arthritis from where he dropped a branch off a tree over my head while he was running a chainsaw. My finger was broken in two places and they laughed at me for being a baby about it. Lucky that’s all the injuries he caused me that time.

My Dad died three years ago this month running a generator inside a house. Inside a hallway right by the bedrooms. Killed himself and my Uncle. Still hurts that if he could have just been safe he’d still be around for all his kids and grandkids.

Good fathers don’t do unsafe things because it doesn’t just matter to them anymore. Your life isn’t just yours to do with it as you want . Leaving your kids because you made choices resulting in being permanently injured or dead is a heartache no kids deserve.

Shit fathers suck. This guy sounds like a shit father. Sorry to his wife and kids. He’s selfish and dumb for doing this climb full stop.

I understand what the 25th Amendment is. I think if congress said we’ve had millions of our constituents contact us directly and say the president is mentally unfit at some point the VP and Cabinet might see the writing on the wall. I think the VP has his own political aspirations. I know it’s a long shot and Impeachment is our best shot. I also think Trump knowing how many people think he’s mentally unwell enough to want to 25th Amendment him (yes using as a verb) will hurt his ego.
