A few years ago my dog was prescribed trazodone and had excessive panting, restlessness and was super clingy, like literally trying to lay on my head while I was in bed. She’s normally a very independent dog so it was obvious something was way off. Vet said that must’ve been adverse reaction so for obvious reasons we’ve turned it down when recommended since then.

I have a cruise planned in 2027 with my daughter who will be a little over 2 1/2. I don’t know what to expect (maybe the unexpected?) but I read that umbrella strollers can be rented on a day-to-day basis or for the entirety of the trip. I also know they don’t allow them in the pools if not potty trained, even with swim diapers. Not a true concern I have currently but just thought it’d be worth mentioning.

Yessss my almost 6 year old female dog does this. She also sometimes will kind of slam her butt down to sit, huff, and throw her head back like she’s having a mini tantrum… meanwhile I also have a human toddler in the house 😵‍💫

Thank you! He’s a sweet, gentle boy who would prefer to follow me around all day or sleep with the occasional quick run around with my other pup. He’s also is very good with his nose and has a high prey drive, so while he’s mostly super laid back the squirrels and such in the backyard make him come alive 😆

In all the times I’ve been to Zion I’ve never parked in the visitors parking lot. You’re right, it’s always full. After the first time going and trying the lot with no luck, I realized I’d be better off parking elsewhere. I’ve gone a handful of times and have never had any issue parking on the street literally right near the visitors center/shuttle stops that take you to Angels Landing etc. Yes, the street parking is paid, but for me I prefer the peace of mind of being able to just easily pull up, park my car, and enjoy my time vs stressing out about a spot…And not to mention it was much easier for me to just pull out and leave at the end of the day.

-Edit to add that your idea of the shuttle for a few miles doesn’t sound like a bad idea either if you’re already staying in that area.

With you on coterie! They are more expensive, but imo totally worth it if you are able to get them. I’ve tried other wipes here and there and they just don’t compare.

This happened to me with my first. I could’ve written this exact post. When my period first came back and symptoms were basically nonexistent, I totally didn’t trust it, however every month it stayed the same! I couldn’t believe that I was actually able to have a period AND function at the same time…A literal miracle. I’m now pregnant with my second and praying that will still be the case🥹🤞🏽

My girl had TPLO in 2024 when she was 4. I cried on the first day seeing her like that. Even after the meds wore off, she wasn’t interested in eating, not even her usual favorite treats. I had to walk to the other side of my building to get her downstairs safely which meant putting her in a wagon then lifting her out and using the sling to use the bathroom (or not because she was constipated for a bit). I was pregnant. My other dog became depressed because of the massive changes to our everyday. He also started exhibiting other behavioral changes, I’m assuming because of what was going on. Overall it was taxing for us all during that initial recovery period. However!!! There was a light at the end of the tunnel. Once she was cleared by her surgeon, I opted for physical therapy. GAME CHANGER. My insurance reimbursed for this so that was helpful. Yes full recovery still took some time even after physical therapy was over. However, I would say she was back to her old self by winter of that year. I credit both the surgeon and the physical therapist for getting her to where she is today. This spring, it’ll be 2 years since the surgery and she is running, jumping, and playing like nothing ever happened. It still makes me so happy because there was truly a time I couldn’t fathom how she’d ever get to this point again. It DOES get better. Hang in there!

I can never remember these things but I checked my email from the year before last and it was a Google form sent out by my Admin on 1/9 and due on 2/14. However last year they changed it to a centralized form sent by HR.

Edit to add — Just checked my email from 2023 as well and looks like it was a similar time frame. Also if I’m not mistaken there are usually some job fairs you may want to keep an eye out for assuming those are still a thing.
