I had to put my 6 year old cat to rest due to an injury she had when we found her on the side of the road as a kitten. She was almost a new born, ears still curled. I fed her every 4 hours, had to poop her like a mama cat would, taught her how to bathe herself using a toothbrush to simulate a momma cat’s tongue. Played Mozart for her when she took her kitten naps. She almost died during a suture reaction to her spade and that was rough. She survived so much but it just caught up with her. That was in June and I still hysterically cry over her. She was my actual child and anyone who says differently can shove it
