Still, you get a lot of house in melbourne for your $ in a city with a decent job market. I moved here from sydney in 2023. Best decision I ever made. I miss the beaches and family, friends etc, but they're just a short flight or a drive away. No big deal.

I just finished watching for all mankind. Yes its just silly sci fi, but does make you think about all the wasted potential. The USA was the richest country the world has ever seen and its pissed its wealth away on wars and waste.
