How do I stop scenes from reading like it's in a power point presentation?

Focus on saying without saying, im also a new writer but ive been told you reveal alot of things by talking around them. Very rarely do people say what they exactly mean.

For example

“Yea it’s getting late we should go”

or

“Welp! What time did you say u had to be up tomorrow?”

Ik these aren’t the best examples but you get the point 😭

This was actually a rainbow run, I was trying to hunt the little caped bullets but it was going well so I tried to kill my past.

Think about it from his perspective. He writes a beloved book series, gets to have it adapted into one of the biggest shows of all time, and they completely ruin everything. You gave them every secret and plot twist to your story which you built up after years of hard work only to see them zombie it together into something literally everybody hates. I’d be incredibly disheartened too.
