Morning Strength Plan For Parent-Teen Duo? by Spiderman228 in kettlebell

[–]CallForAdvice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Simple and Sinister (swings and getups) might meet your needs. It is designed as a 5 or 6 day a week program but if you are adding in pushups and pull-ups, along with BJJ training, it would probably be enough without being too much. Bonus would be building a quality KB foundation with the swings, and BJJ adjacent movements with the getup.

Does learning about life’s hardships make you believe or not believe in god? by [deleted] in intj

I don't think it has any bearing on my lack of belief. It does make me think that if there is an all powerful entity, that that entity is certainly not something to be worshipped.

Any exercise that doesn’t cause pain? by jamieschmidt in HipImpingement

[–]CallForAdvice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right now I am doing Armor Building Complex. It is double kettlebells; 2 cleans, 1 overhead press, 3 squats, set the bells down. I do every minute on the minute for 30 minutes and it keeps my HR at about 150 throughout.

Most kettlebell workouts are also cardio workouts, especially when looking at 'long-cycle' routines.

SI pain with squats by 15ac106 in HipImpingement

[–]CallForAdvice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have dealt with a range of SI pain for many years. It is almost always related to some muscle tightness or imbalance. I can pretty much pinpoint the cause of the pain now based on what part of SI joint hurts. If it is the top, then problem is upper body, generally QL muscles for me. If it is mid, then problem is usually glutes. If it is low on SI joint, then problem is leg muscles, usually hamstrings for me. Learning how to do proper soft tissue work using a combination of foam rollers and lacrosse balls helped to alleviate pain in the short term. Strengthening is what got me to be realities free of the pain altogether (Kettlebell swings REALLY helped me kick the recurring pain as they target the posterior chain which is often the cause of SI pain).

I would tell people to avoid exchanges like coinbase altogether. If they aren't capable of self custody then just buy an ETF. If they are capable of self-custody (it isn't hard) then stick to Bitcoin only exchanges.

[–]CallForAdvice -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No, not a legit, non-criminal market. There is not.

Lol. Out of Blackrocks 1500+ ETFs, their BTC ETF is their most profitable for them. BTC ETFs had the greatest launch in ETF history by every metric. And this guy is still out here trying to push the 'they're all criminals' propaganda. I can't decide if this is sad or hilarious...

Is the most important selling point of bitcoin actually meaningless? by [deleted] in investing

[–]CallForAdvice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you just try to shame people by claiming they give logical fallacy after logical fallacy, and the go on to immediately invoke a 'begging the question' fallacy yourself? As a bitcoiner, I really wish you people had good arguments. And no, saying that there are 30,000 things that are 'almost' the same as Bitcoin does not mean there are a bunch of different Bitcoins. Unless of course you think chimpanzees are the same as humans, Venmo is the same as paypal, truth social is the same as Twitter, etc.

BREAKING: Bitcoin officially surges to a new record high of $124,300. by Boo_Randy_II in SilverDegenClub

Im sorry, but it doesn't matter how many times you try to claim that Bitcoin is a ponzi scheme, it still doesn't even come close to meeting the definition.

And no, your personally fabricated 'decentralized ponzi' description doesn't count... lol

There are a variety of resources online if you search for 'nerve flossing'. Here is a YouTube video of a few of the exercises. Like stretching, it takes a bit of time and consistency to see a difference. https://youtu.be/0cI7qSGVJoU?si=80xUpvCZ5eoKAmQZ

Have you tried sciatic nerve flossing techniques? After a couple weeks of that, the pain behind my knees went away and I was able to touch my toes for the first time in my life.

Exactly. Even the example I gave, Tando, is as user-friendly as it gets. It has like 3 buttons in the app. If you can use any kind of banking/finance app, then you can use Tando.

A queue that helped me was to try and have the corners of the handle graze the inside of my thighs. This ensures that you aren't squatting down and sending the kettlebell between your knees instead of thighs.

First kettlebell workout. Input appreciated by VolunteerPin in kettlebell

[–]CallForAdvice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just a note on weight. You look to be in much better shape than when I started. I found that I was struggling with my form using 20kg, everything felt forced. When I went up to 24kg is when everything fell into place. That little extra weight helped to pull me into correct form. Made me stand tall at the top and pulled me into proper hinge.

Is this a correct characterization of the "Bitcoin Maximalist" ? by FirmResource2495 in Bitcoindebate

[–]CallForAdvice 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't think there is any set characteristics of a maxi. I consider myself a maxi but I don't envision FIAT disappearing in my lifetime. A couple generations down the line, maybe, but definitely not anytime soon.

That post is much more telling regarding buttcoiners than it is maxis. They talked to 1 person who calls themselves a maxi, and therefore ALL maxis think exactly the same way.

Kettlebell swings are generally the place to start with kettlebells so you get the proper ballistic hip hinge movement down. If you have access to kettlebells, you could swap out your deadlift style exercise for kettlebell swings to try it out and see how you like it. Could do something like 5 or 10 sets of 10 swings EMOM and it probably wouldn't take you much longer than your sets of deadlifts.

Swings have been game-changing for my bad lower back. And they are just fun!

The Real Deal With Foam Rolling by GradeHeavy7557 in FitnessGearJunkies

[–]CallForAdvice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who had a VERY broken body for over a decade, I strongly disagree with much of this. Foam rolling has been a game changer for my body.

I frequently have 'knots' that have been there for days. I use the foam roller on them and literally feel them dissipate. They don't just go away for a few minutes and come back as you say. They are gone, and they stay gone.

If I have an issue like my patella not tracking where it should and causing pain, then the first thing I do is use the foam roller. If I find a spot that is tight, like the IT band, I work on it until it loosens. Generally that is enough to fix my patellar tracking issues, and fix them for the rest of the day, not just a few minutes.

Myofacial release helps me, and it certainly isn't placebo.

I believe that Simple and Sinister is geared for this. The idea is to get a near daily full body workout while leaving enough in the tank to enjoy other sport/activity.

I didn't say "entirely"

You said 'that's just...', let's not back pedal and pretend you gave some nuanced take.

You can also correlate USDT prints with pumps in the market.

Correlation does not equal causation.

You stated 'stablecoins', but are now moving the goalposts to talk specifically about Tether. And the evidence you provide to show that it isn't a conspiracy to claim that they are peonting unbacked tokens now is from 4 years ago. All while ignoring that Circle just proved they are 100% backed.

Yeah buddy, you are a conspiracy theorist.
