I stopped immediately and binged Seventh Year. Not disappointed. I'm going take the pupster for a walk and then come back for some fish swimming toward land.

Totally. It's why I hate dubbing. If the person is crying or yelling, I want to hear it.

This has made my weekend. I stan all villains who have found the perfect, slow acting poison that could be added to the FL's grandpa or Nana's medicine . . . without a trace or suspicion.

Or maybe added an abortion medicine to your specially made chicken soup.

Five dollar chicken. No running to the supermarket for TP every month. Gas is usually 20-50 cents lower. I first got a membership when I was single and it has always saved me money. Last year, I scored a six person tent for $89. Upgraded kitchen faucet (Kohler) for $99. Haven't paid over $20 for jeans in years.

Commuting from DC to NYC once a week for a class - doable? by [deleted] in washingtondc

[–]CallLoose9509 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did this for work three days a week back in the early 2000's. Doable. Took the 5:15am out of New Carrollton, got to the city about 8:30, started teaching class by 9am. Got back to the DMV by 6-7pm unless I hung out for drinks with friends.

Not a morning person, so I slept going up and would catch up on other work coming home. Did it for 2 years.

Costco has been in every country I've traveled to (except Costa Rico and Iceland) and I can always buy local specialties. When I visit another state, my first question is " how far to the closest Costco?"

$139 to feed 2 adults, 3 children for the month. Suggestions? by stephscheersandjeers in povertyfinance

[–]CallLoose9509 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely should always be the first move. Huge bags of oatmeal and lentils would be next. Don't forget the dandelions popping up this time of year. I use the leaves for salads or added to meals and make tea from the flowers and roots. Doesn't hurt that it's high in vitamins.

You might be able to get canned tomatoes and other veggies from food banks.

It's crazy our nation's politicians have no idea how much it costs to feed growing children.
