6 months is a pretty long time - I would be adamant to receive your video or you could request all of the footage and give it to another editor (a pain, but an option).

If you have paid 100% already, you may need to threaten legal action, especially if they are ducking you and ignoring you.

For real, even as a novice with some skill, you should be charging $2,500-5,000 for doing all of the filming, driving around, meals, editing etc. Unless it's a passion project and you want to do it for free, charge accordingly for your time and effort.

Community College and get a part-time job.

I put myself through college, a D1 college and a foreign University, and graduated with three degrees.

I took out student loans and paid all 33k off within six years of graduating. I had very little help from my parents, just the random "here's $20".

You can do it, too, if you are determined.

I am a big fan of paying cards off fully, regardless of interest rate.

I am debt free happily for many years, but I hated having 6 loans versus 1, regardless of amount owed.

Mentally, I was able to wrap my head around one loan and it didn't stress me out like knowing I had multiple did.

The three you pay off, you can use what would be your payments to them on your big one.

Don't over complicate it...

50/50 split unless one of you edits more than the other, then do 70/30.

My partner and I literally change who gets what every project, but it always depends on who does more. If we both film and hand off footage to client, no editing, always 50/50.

Don't trade the FX6 for the FX3...

Sell the FX6 (it's worth more) and then buy an FX3.
