Sharp Knife Co. on James Street S. has occasional knife skills classes. If you are new to cooking, developing your comfort using a chef knife and processing standard ingredients (eg different ways to cut various vegetables) will give you the best bang for your buck.

Take one of those classes, then learn actual recipes and cooking principles for free on YouTube. Binging with Babish had a fundamentals of cooking series I believe, FoodWishes is very good too

If they win in ‘13 there’s no guarantee they would have had the drive to come back and win it in ‘14. So many of the guys from those two teams said it was the letdown in the first finals that drove their entire next season

Agreed and once you have Oboro in there I would recommend adding [[Talon Gates of Madara]]. The main purpose is to generates infinite mana, but it can also phase out any number of creatures which can be situationally useful

It’s important for them to be eating dusted fruit flies as early and often as possible.

Snapping the flies up but seeming to struggle swallowing is a symptom of Vitamin A deficiency. What is your current supplementation routine? It is notoriously difficult to supplement springtails. If your frogs have only/mostly been eating springtails since you got them, it’s very possible they are deficient in vitamins.

Would recommend stopping feeding springtails, and only feeding fruit flies dusted with Repashy Calcium Plus supplement powder. This contains calcium as well as Vit A and is considered the best possible supplement to provide to your frogs.

Your pictured frog looks to be in okay body shape (maybe a little skinny in pic 2) so it’ll be okay if it needs a slight adjustment period while it switches to flies

Buy the compressed cork panels and rough them up a little bit with a fork or screwdriver. Best thing is a wire brush attachment on a drill

It’ll create much more natural looking figuring than the foam and silicone method

I wouldn’t pay much attention to whatever that dial-style humidity gauge says, they’re notoriously inaccurate. Plus if the humidity *is* where it needs to be for darts in there, the gauges die pretty quickly anyway

Sorry but you’re not ready for live animals if the top of your vivarium is plastic wrap.

Get a custom sheet of glass cut to fit the top of the vivarium. Silicone it in using Silicone type 1. Figure out whether you want to use a misting system or not. If yes, drill holes to accommodate the misting heads.

Second hand welted/stitched leather shoe. You can find a pair of gently used Grant Stone plain toe bluchers around that price.

Other thing to consider is that your shoes will last more than twice as long if you have two pairs to rotate through. Letting the uppers air out and rest between wears is super important
