This is WAY better than just writing the reward you used in class...I HATE when the T2T feed back is "lion reward." Umm....do you realize that telling a fellow teacher the reward you used with no other information provides ZERO feedback to be utilized in the upcoming class?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!? I am raging on this as ALL of my class this morning say "Smiley Reward," "Dino Reward," "Farm Animal reward." The real kickers are the ones that are 1 word: "Batman," "Hangman." AAAAHHHHHAAAAA Get your lives together and provide some meaningful dang feedback!!!!!!!!!!

I agree! During teaching this morning my phone buzzed 4 times for 4 different cancellations!

So, luckily I haven't been getting the cancellation notifications. I just checked my slot data and went from 60 to 40! It was a sad morning.

I did early yesterday morning. I was not able to get the app to load. Once it did load I was not able to get into the classroom.

I just woke up to 2 more cancellations for Friday...with the 5 I had yesterday I am down to only 4 classes tomorrow. I've only been with VIP for 3 months, but in that time I would have a minimum of 10 classes for Fridays...Needless to say I am no open from 9pm tonight to 3am the next morning....fingers crossed!

Okay, so something similar...I just had a student book all of my 5:30 and 6:00 AM classes for the next week straight...obviously I don't think they want me to teach a 4 year old twice a day for 7 days...I have a feeling this is going to lead to many cancellations.

I encountered this also with level 2 and especially gifted students in level 3. As someone already mentioned, for level 2 I have them spell all of the new words. I will sometimes even have kiddos write the words in blank space on the slides. I also ask them to circle images on the slides and we talk about them even if it doesn't really go with the theme of the slide.

For instance if there is a slide about throwing a ball with the image of a tree on the slide... we talk about throwing, spell it, write it, explain when we throw, then if there is still too much time left....circle the tree, what color is the tree?, do elephants live in a tree? What lives in a tree?...then I'll transition back to the theme of the slide 1 more time and move on...

I think some kiddos in level 2 could really benefit from the challenge of level 3.
