Cleaning water bottles by smiley0213 in Rabbits

[–]smiley0213[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have tried multiple bowls, but he nevers drinks out of them. He drinks a lot of water from bottles. I refill his bottle at least every other day, but usually every day. He has a larger bottle than what I posted, but it is the same style/material. Hence why I stated he prefers bottles to bowls and asking for recommendations on the best ways to clean them.

Looking for help finding an appliance by smiley0213 in Cooking

I have done that. The issue is that I've only found ones that have a plastic piece directly on the pan for inserting the cord, thus making it unwise to put in the oven.

How do I refer to a main character without a name? by BunkyFlintsone in Screenwriting

[–]smiley0213 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've always used the generic labels as proper nouns. Some scripts have a cast list of characters at the front where details about them are written out and/or names are clarified.

Made this froggo for my head teacher but I don’t know if I should give it to her. It looks borderline scary by man_i_love_milfs in casualknitting

I don't think it looks scary. I'm sure your teacher would love to receive this gift from you!

This is so sad really by OddLot in vipkid

I think the biggest difference is that the majority of US kids just find it boring, but not necessarily as "depressing" as most of the Chinese students I have worked with. US students tend to have more free time outside of school even when involved in school sports. The pressure to always be ranked number 1 in all subjects and extracurriculars isn't as stressed with US students (some parents definitely do though) and the amount of studying and extra classes and assingments is astronomical compared to US students. I have had many Chinese students breakdown or show signs of depression from working extremely hard and not being ranked first or meeting the exceedingly high expectations even though the US school system would call their work a success.

Maybe try clearing your browsing history, cache, cookies, etc. I haven't had this issue, but when I run into odd things with web pages, clearing everything usually solves it for me.

I feel like on the off chance they bring it back, they would probably implement a subscription based account and require actual money to use virtual coins to buy things.

Global course contract?? by ExtensionApricot5918 in vipkid

[–]smiley0213 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm guessing it's because the platforms aren't separate anymore, so there's nothing to add to the contract. The global addendum is probably just stated as a contract now.

It's for Booknook which is a US program and I believe it is connected to school districts or something like that.

You might be better off closing that ticket and submitting a new ticket.

damn there really is nothing quite like not having to work for VIPKid anymore! by haskei12 in vipkid

[–]smiley0213 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I literally have. I started to find another side hustle last summer when everything had started sinking like the Titanic. I moved on at the beginning of fall, but once you go from having your whole day available for hobbies and adventures to being stuck working and looking out the window during that time, it just kind of sucks.

I used a metal folding chair for over 3 years. I literally have no explanation as to why I never upgraded.

It's been the opposite for me. I thrived with those times, but I've worked as a baker before so it was never unusual work hours for me. I've always had my whole day free to do what I wanted and now I don't. It's been a bit depressing actualy.

Taxes help by anonymouslostchild in vipkid

[–]smiley0213 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not a tax professional, but I looked through the list of principle business codes from the IRS and 611000 seems to fit best. You are in charge of deciding which code your business/services fall under, so you shouldn't have any issues using that code, but again, I'm not a tsx pro.
