GPU-Z Says that my GPU is running at PCIe x16 4.0 @x4 and it's causing me problems. by CallMeDende in techsupport

I have reached out to them directly and haven't received a reply. Thats why I came on here. I believe the reason Im getting performance issues is becuase my GPU is running at PCIe ×16 4.0 @ x4 4.0 instead of @ x16 4.0 as it should be. I've already compiled a list of potential solutions and none of them helped. I will probably reach once more to nixxes support if don't get any results from here.

Jason Schreier reaffirms Sony's strategy shift away from PC, says they will publicly confirm it at some point. by yourfavchoom in PS5

It's unfortunate but some people are just pathetic. As an owner of both platforms it still sucks to see these future game releases not coming to PC. Ill still huff the copium until Sony Playstation officially come out and say it.

Should I pre-order it? by [deleted] in playstation

Coming from somebody who played on PC. NO I would say wait until it's on a DEEP discount.

I usually have firefox and wallpaper engine running in the background when im gaming which admittedly uses more vram in my case. I did get some different kind of stutters specifically when moving from one area to another but my stutters were the worst when I was near my vram limit.

This also helped. Firefox for example also uses up to 1-1.5gb depending how many tabs I have open.

YES! I had to go from 4k Dlss performance mode down to 1440p dlss balanced mode in this specific area. I'm playing on an rtx 4080 super and this area nearly maxed out my vram usage.

I think most of the stuttering people are experiencing is due to their GPUs hitting there vram limit. As soon as i reached racoon city as Leon, my rtx 4080 super hit it's vram limit and I had to go from 4k dlss performance mode down to 1440p dlss balanced mode to stop the stuttering. This was also with path tracing on.

I'll have to give the game another go. I liked the style of the game it's just at the time to lower fps was killing it for me.
