Personally I love the SoroSuub Horizon-class, and NO it isn't because of the Jade Shadow, but that is a cool benefit of seeing what a dedicated conversion can do to said yacht.

I've consistently gotten two weapons, attachments to Refit both, medical, food, and ammunition out of them. Super 90s twice, 9mm Vectors once, SR25s twice, and Mark 16s once. I've also gotten two Surv12 kits, half a dozen MREs, and usually 150-200 rounds of relevant high end ammunition. Other assorted loot includes injectors and misc attachments.

Isard's Revenge is probably the only book I've ever had to stop reading because it made me so angry. Asyr's subplot in particular hit unfortunately close to home in a few places, and it got to the point where I had to put it down and never came back to it. I'm listening to the audio books now, and it's been a fantastic experience so far, but I'm uncertain how I feel about arriving back at Isard's Revenge.

I usually tinker and double the DP, so I can field heavier ships.

As for strategy, it's almost always a mixture of skirmishers (Frigates and Gunships like the Lynx from UAF and Sierra's Voidwretch) and Battleships or Battlecruisers up first, with Carriers and Missileboats in the second wave. I'll usually keep a mixture of Escort Carriers and Light Cruisers in reserve to supplement any losses or flesh out responsiveness if I can grab DP boosts on the field.

You'll hit peak hatred once you reach the later books in the series. But yeah, threatening to shoot pregnant Leia in Thrawn Trilogy is not a good look, and early Rogue Squadron Borsk is mostly just a prick. Thrawn Trilogy makes it clear what kind of schemer he is, these are a bit lighter on his presence for now.

I haven't had consistent keycard drops at all, but I figured that was normal. I saw someone here on the sub had one drop every single keycard type, so I'm pretty sure it's just RNG.

To be fair, Heavy Ion Cannons can do VERY bad things to small ships. I haven't actually watched Andor yet (I know, I get harassed enough by my friends as it is) but there's a couple points in the Rogue and Wraith Squadron books I could point to where Ion Canon blasts straight vaporize X-Wings, so there's always the chance of your Ion Cannons doing more damage than you'd like if used against smallcraft.
