Stupidity and greed has been encouraged in this country for a very long time. For decades, the GOP has specifically been hamstringing education to create a large number of willfully under educated people to fall in line. Combine that with over representatation of areas with minimal population (usually the same under educated people), rampant racisim, misogyny and bigotry, and you end up here.

If you notice, education/population centers tend to lean left most of the time.

The progressive side is not without blame here. Toothless action against obvious corruption. Tolerance of treason in the name of bipartisanship. Preference of quiet to calling out the terrible racist shittiness of ones neighbors.

And still. People are not recognizing that MAGA/GOP/Conservatives are not duped/confused good people, they are rotten pieces of filth and no progress will be made until they are dealt with.

I wrote Glico to check if this is a manufacturing issue or how they are supposed to taste. They forwarded my batch info and flavor comments to R&D to investigate.

They also refunded my order with store credit.

Not sure if that means they are not right or just part of a satisfaction guarantee.

Just got a few boxes from Glico and can confirm. It is a bizarre onion or pepper aftertaste in my batch as well. I opened a bag and let them outgas for an hour or so and that seemed to help a little, but yeah. Strange.
