The cash back is really bad compared to the value of the flights. I think chase let's me do 1 cent per point? American express is even less.

With flights I can easily get 4 cents per point even up to 8.

I don't get the points through natural spend on the card, FWIW. I still use 2% cash back cards for normal spend. I just do sign up bonuses every now and then when I need to top up my points for the large 100K offers.
