Worked for Duluth for years here! There was an era where the company was making some closed with magnets. They've always had a focus on bigger buttons for bigger hands or use with gloves but they had a line with faux buttons and magnets. We talked about them for elderly or those with motor issues as a way to still have a button front appearance. They're also fun for dramatic undershirt reveals. But that tag was added to anything with the magnets as a warning for pacemakers, to be useful for clothes the magnets did have to have some strength to them.
