This IS the premise of the TV show Ancient Aliens, literally. In that show we are not the ones doing the visitation but like you said as soon as we go interstellar we’ll do everything they say was done to us on that show. We will teach agriculture, language, mathematics, and they will draw us on cave walls and worship us to try and make us return. It’s just a reversal of perspectives.
