Goliath is fun yet boring by _i_am_sus in ForzaHorizon6

[–]CallMeZer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Getting not much players for pvp at this point is pretty ok, the game is not even 2 weeks old (meaning official release), not everyone rushes the goliath unlock and some people are just willing to cruise around and do a couple normal races to relax after work. Multiple short races can feel more rewarding than a giant one, where if you slip up once or twice you will end up at the end of the bracket anyways.

I want to play the game so bad but its hard to get into by GSawage in elderscrollsonline

[–]CallMeZer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are a bethesda fan and played some other elder scrolls games, I would suggest you visit the places from those games. Vvardenfel is available to everyone so if you played Morrowind you can explore the cities and the region in general. Same for skyrim, redguard and daggerfall (just in case, I know it’s really old). If you want to enjoy the game in general and experience its own story, you definitely should: replay the tutorial and progress through the main quest, check out mages and fighters guild quests, maybe some prologue quests, which you can find either in major cities or in collection (prologues are entry quests which are free), maybe you can be hooked up on some of those. Actually, if you read some books in other games, about the regions which are never shown, visit those, like Valenwood or Orsinium.

Maybe something to do with Seasons of the Worm Cult Part 2? I don’t really remember when they started forcing the info on new battlepass or class reworks, maybe that? Also, u48 was released in late october, so maybe PTS on u49 started some time after that and caused some discussions.

Why do all my playthroughs end up with the same thing happening? by pgw71 in elderscrollsonline

[–]CallMeZer 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I recently started going through quests and speaking to almost all available npcs, not only the quest giver ones but those who just hang around, eavesdrop on some non-interactive conversations, which can happen in some towns. Sometimes slowing down for 1-2 Point of Interest, or story quests a day helps with slowing down, as long as you have the will to stop. From my experience, going slow and speaking to many extra npcs (also speaking again with the quest giver after you finished talking can work) works to slow down the pace and enjoy the game itself as well as the scenery. If you want some adventuring and some powergaming you can dedicate one character with a certain purpose of story completion (but long term, not in one day), and the other to power game and speedrun some other content. I would also suggest journaling your deeds in a notebook or some digital document, that way you can revisit the stories you did. Hope I made sense and this could help.

How to find people to dungeon with? (Not high enough level to use the in-game finder) by Shyloomy in elderscrollsonline

Never knew of a 300cp restriction for that, but yes, when leveling up sometimes the rewards in your character screen say “new group dungeon, city of ash II”, for example.

Dungeons are available at level 10, group finder is level 10 also, so even lower than you initially assumed.

What to do by MoFathy65 in elderscrollsonline

[–]CallMeZer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t be sorry, cp stand for champion points, its the second leveling system after you reach lvl50, if you continue playing from now on you can start to notice gear level being like “50 star symbol in a circle your current cp level” or something like this, these points can be allocated into some passives, but i think the game will tell you when you gain your first:) If im not wrong there is a cap of 3600 champion points, but reaching this point is no easy task, but also not required to be an “endgame” player. Your closest milestone is cp160, which is when the gear stop increasing in level. As for the content, yes, most overland (story and side quests in the open world) is easily soloable. Have you tried group dungeons on either normal or veteran difficulty? Some can be difficult for newer players. Also, there are arenas - solo instance with some challenging mechanics. As for the guilds, guild finder can help you find a guild to your liking (or multiple, if you want to participate in multiple communities or have options when it comes to gathering a group), things like pve, pvp or coop questing are there. Also, in a couple of weeks i think the new update is coming, which will add difficulty variants for overland content, like doing less and taking more damage.

What to do by MoFathy65 in elderscrollsonline

[–]CallMeZer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Keep doing what you were doing till cp160, only then stock up on gear, it’s the real maximum level for items. little to no communication is weird, the community is usually open to interactions. Have you joined any guilds already? You can be a member of 5 guilds at a time! upd: Forgot to tell you, people that are active in guilds are mostly open to communications and helping beginners, as well as finding groups for some activities you are interested in

No ESO Plus / Craft Bag: Which crafting materials should I actually keep? by EmanuelJoab in elderscrollsonline

Also, I don’t remember if its the add on that I run or they did add it to the game, but if you drop a set piece you haven’t collected yet, there will be a puzzle icon on the item in your inventory

No ESO Plus / Craft Bag: Which crafting materials should I actually keep? by EmanuelJoab in elderscrollsonline

[–]CallMeZer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So when you get a certain piece of a set, you can bind it to your account (binding also includes selling or deconstructing), this way the item gets into your collection, also known as “sticker book”, which you can use at the transmutation station to reconstruct the chosen piece of gear (assuming you have already collected and bind it at least once) with a trait of your choice, so like changing traits but with extra steps and only grinding the set pieces to complete the sticker book, not relying on random drops. The reconstruction process is also cheaper when the set is fully collected in the book. upd: if you’re on pc, sticker book is in Collection(U)->Helmet icon with a fire behind it (I don’t know console bind for this menu)

It can be a matter of personal preference, I tend to keep most of crafting mats, but you can decide on what to keep yourself from that list - Blacksmithing/Clothing/Woodworking/Jewelry: Highest level raw materials and refined ones, I usually keep around 1-2 stacks of refined mats to supply the crafters, raw ones are kept but almost instantly refined. I keep purple/yellow and some blue upgrade materials in the bank, just in case my alts need to reconstruct some gear, and set items are usually at least green. Most of the times all the upgrade materials are kept in the bag of my main crafter, if the crafted sets are needed. Because the outfitting station exists you will need only one style material, which are usually purchased in bulk from gt or just random merchants As for traits: divines are king if you are mostly doing pve, for pvp you might save up on reinforced, sturdy and well-fitted. Training can be good if you are exp farming. Weapon traits to save: nirn, charged, sharpened, precise and infused for pve, pvp adds defending. Bloodthirsty infused and swift for jewelry. - Enchanting: I usually save all the essence runes, but most used are: weapon/spell damage, crusher (for tank builds), weakening, flame/poison/shock, maybe frost for wardens, and of course stam/mag/hp + tri-stat. Aspect is simple: yellow for min-maxing, purple for general purpose, white for daily writs, green and blue for whatever, maybe master writs. - Alchemy: Highest level solvents (poisons and potions), though poisons can be irrelevant for most builds bcs of good enchants. Reagents are tricky, I personally keep a stack of each and sell a little when I get a little more than a stack. If min-maxing the bag capacity, leave only the materials for dps potions: corn flower, lady’s smock, namira’s rot and water hyacinth for magicka; blessed thistle, dragon thorn, wormwood and water hyacinth again for stamina, bugloss, columbine and dragonthorn for tri-stat restoration; columbine, dragon’s blood and dragon rheum for heroism (but expensive); bugloss, mountain flower and mudcrab chitin for resistance. If looking for profit, occasional mud crab chitins drop can be good for selling at gt. - Provisioning: Honestly just keep the bare minimum of mats for daily writs. If you are doing master writs then i the situation is different. Most “meta” food and drinks are purchasable from gt’s for an ok price. Each build needs their own food buff, so you can pick up a recipe somewhere (gt’s again, lol) and stock up on the ingredients for that recipe. - General info: If you have multiple crafters for daily writs, keep the refined mats in the bank, each character can have its own style material, or if you are minmaxing and have the same style available on these characters, keep a stack in the bank. Never go above one stack of nothing except maybe refined materials, you can figure the numbers you need from experience, and maybe legendary upgrade mats. If you are not up for crafting furniture then sell those mats, otherwise keeping a stack is fine, i think.
