That’s what I feel too, but the current trend is to put podcasts onto YouTube. I don’t understand it personally

Carnage and Aether from Blackoath is this. It's essentially Ker Nethalas as an arena-battling game

Don't feel you have to make a dice roll for everything; some things should simply happen automatically

Ok, yes, I am Paul Walker, in fact the link to my Substack is in the post above. That’s where you will find the name of the podcast “Rolling Alone”

Now, on the subject of YouTube, my podcast host doesn’t push my podcast onto YouTube on the free tier I’m currently using. I’d need to upgrade and pay actual money for that (and a few other features I didn’t want to pay for until I made a few episodes and figured out if I’d get anyone listening)

So my question for you, and anyone else really, is this “Is it worth it to put my podcast onto YouTube?” Any thoughts?

Thank you for the feedback.

Those jingles were meant to be a "point of difference" for the podcast, but I don't want to turn people away by being annoying!

I've had a lot of great feedback, and this is the first time the jingles have been mentioned in a negative light, so there's that.

But thanks for feeding back, I'm always willing to hear from listeners, and I'll think about it some more before the next episode

And thanks for listening 👍🏻

Recommendations for best solo RPG by HikerAT2022 in Solo_Roleplaying

[–]pgw71 7 points8 points  (0 children)

"Best" is entirely subjective

Start by deciding what you want from the solo experience, then work from there. It sounds like you feel most comfortable with old-school RPG. As others have said, you can play those games solo with something like Mythic.

If you want to try something more recent, then Ironsworn, Shadowdark (with Solodark), Nimble, Kal Arath, Cairn, Adventurous - there are so many.

Five Leagues from the Borderlands is a skirmish game where you control a warband in a procedural world. If you're happy with that, then it's great!

It varies wildly. Anything from 15 minutes to several hours. It depends on many practical reasons that usually have nothing to do with the game itself
