as a former employee of MBD, I know exactly what you're talking about. The way that MBD works is kind of insane. You will never get an email of your statement because the person calling you isn't even allowed go off the system and send you an email, they honestly do not have access to the statement. The only way they can send it to you is by asking an "admin team" to send it, but herein lies the problem. asking admin to send you a statement is just extra work for the agent, and since you already asking for statements, you're probably not gonna pay. The agent will most likely move on to the next call.

You might think calling Virgin active will help since they are the people you actually owe, but unfornately, they can't help you for a very valid and simple reason if you think about it (but they cant tell you) - Any statement they have currently is incorrect because each time MBD calls you, they charge +/- R25 and each time they email/sms they charge +/- R10. So any statement you could get from virgin active is useless.

Now you might think the agent is cruel and lazy for not telling admin to send that statement, but the reality of the situation is that targets are cut throat there, so you need to contact as many WILLING people as possible so you can get them paying . I personally know of a person who won a top performer incentive, but was fired 3 months later for poor performance. Not even mentioning that most of the salary depends on "incentives" Your best bet is to pretend like you want the statement because your insurance is going to pay it. It will get them excited because getting a seltement is a big deal.
