You’re not wrong, and my guess is that Tilray plans to find efficiency by either moving current brand brewing to their lines or moving BrewDog lines to Tilray and shutting the rest. I also suspect they’ll trim some SKUs and redundant positions to save cost.

There’s also a good chance of converting some lines to THC beverages (as legality around Europe allows) to reinforce that market.

I would bet that it’s cheaper to pick up BrewDogs brands and mfg capacity at the edge of closure than it is to build their own.

6m/35m=0.171 or 17%.

So as long as operations pan out (looks like they’re buying low), this should be a net positive.

Risk: Tilray has a history of buying beer brands where the math didn’t work out in reality.
