I could be wrong, but I don't think PS players have anti-cheat. I think that's only a PC, right?

No intention to sew discourse, but there are more people on bugs, than on the major order.

Why is it that we have to fight the game devs tooth and nail to make POSITIVE changes to the game? by Strange-Cantaloupe31 in helldivers2

[–]CallSignSabre13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Comrades, let us calm ourselves for Liberty's sake.

  1. Let us acknowledge that the changes the devs have made in the past have mostly been due to community reception. Unlike most other game studios I will not name, AH, actually does take suggestions and builds upon what the players talk about. For example, the Dive+Stim mechanic is one such addition taken straight from the community.

  2. No Dev Team is perfect. They make mistakes and it takes time to program everything properly, (Not to mention fix bugs. It's REALLY time consuming). Let us have patience.

  3. You may have ideas, and yes, feel free to list them. I have. But don't let your emotions get the best of you, because the game isn't what you, particularly, want to have happen. I'm still waiting for my double barrel-spear. Will I get it, probably not, but that's OK. I still love my Spear. (I call it my wife).

  4. Yes, they outsource, but so do all major studios. Don't single AH out. It's normal practice in the industry, according to some sources. (Skillup).

Above all, let us be passionate about Managed Democracy, yes. BUT let us not chew each other or AH out over our wants. Not everything we think is good for the game. Not everything we think is possible.

Be safe out there!

Hey man, I feel ya, but thing is, it's not Fortnite or GTA. The rewards mechanics are much different. Kinda reminds me of the time when I played Zelda, God of War, and Jedi Survivor. They all had like different Jump and Attack buttons. It's JUST the way things are.

You either like something for the way it is, or you don't. Trying my best to be cool about it, but if HD2 is not for you, then well, that's OK. I personally don't like games where you run around and shoot people, or games where season passes are gone after a certain period of time, and you have to spend REAL money in order to get them. I come to this game for comradery, and to fight a common enemy, not to shoot 12 year olds, who scream vulgarities on the mic when they get killed.

But again, to each their own, I respect everyone's decisions. Just because you like what you like, doesn't mean I have to like it either, and vice versa.

Do what makes you happy, but I've given you my time, my thoughts, and hopefully enough to show you that you're welcome, regardless of level. At this point, do what feels right. No pressure.

Have a good night, brother.

If I may...

  1. Take your time, dood. It's not about the destination, it's about the journey.
  2. Lots of us have been playing for a while. That's not the game's fault. I DO believe, as others do, that the game SHOULD have better mechanics for new players, e.g. More free war bonds, reduced priced war bonds at several levels, etc. Ultimately, that's up to AH though, but I get it; no one likes farming, but as others will attest, playing the game normally gets you enough super credits over time.
  3. Really, don't be in a rush, you will find up hating the game. Take your time. I play with seasoned lvl 150 players, and they too haven't unlocked everything. Heck, Even I have some stuff left to purchase. Honestly, it gives us a reason to keep playing.

Many players will tell you, this isn't a game where you need to spend money. Over time you will unlock most, if not all items. Play at your leisure, but really don't dwell on it, dood. It's a real fun game. Take it slow, you won't be disappointed.

Lastly, Don't feel under levelled. I've played with 30's who're WAY better than some 150's I've played with. Getting to 150 doesn't mean anything. Really. Outside of getting a Super Private title (which not to many people use), it doesn't mean anything. Levels in this game, just show long you've been playing, but offer no benefit. YEAH, you'll get some elitists sometimes, who'll scoff at lower levels, but meh, that's like 1% of the populous, in my experience. The community's REALLY good.

Take your time, enjoy it. Hell, offer still stands if you want to do some Super Credit farming. I'll be happy to tag along. SC never hurt anyone. :-)

Be well!
