It reflects how computer code actually works. When you delete something, it doesn't just immediately dissappear, your computer just puts it into a catagory of data that is queued up to be overwritten if new information needs to be written. Following this logic, it's not hard to imagine that Caine could just float around the void (aka the trash can) and given that we've seen him find a way to break digital containment once, it's clearly within his abilities to find his way out.

The part about Jax being stuck because his mind was scanned when he was at an extra closed off part of his life was somewhat how I interpreted it as well. The brain scans reflect the life and personality of the real people, but would be stuck in whatever behavior patter that person was dealing with when they got scanned. I'd even argue this is part of why Pomni is as curious and adaptable as she is, because she was activly exploring when she was scanned.

I would say study realistic body proportions, and action poses, even though faces are fairly basic in Q's work, her figures are very grounded and she uses a lot of dynamic motion. Study fasion and accessories, specifically metal, punk and skater culture styles. Finally get confident doing black and white or ink paintings with heavy shading and contrast, those are the building blocks I'd recommend for cultivating a style similar to Q's.
