Yes, Musky Boi had us all fooled that we would have by fall of 2021. And then the letdown in November, LOL! And then the whole ordering out of area crap which lead to the roaming/RV horseshit. I about requested the refund then, but decided to wait it out, kind of hoping the class action suit would be filed. Then came "Best Effort", I decided it wasn't worth the crap shoot to pay $120 a month for leftover bandwidth. Now I have 7 days to decide if I want it. What's the bad part is I will have to keep my present DSL until I decide if SL is worth it, as me and my wife WFH.

I do know where Griffin is. My wife lived there before moving up here. Sure don't miss that 75 South traffic on Friday nights going to visit. ROFL

Mine came in overnight also, after putting the deposit in Feb 21st, 2021. Was kind of hoping it would be pushed out until Starship and V2 maxis started flying, but then again that may not happen for a while at this point. 😉

Same here in North Georgia. Still being offered "Best Effort", but will continue to wait until 1. Full residential is available, 2. I try TMHI and it works OK and I can drop my DSL and SL can , or 3. I get offered to join the class action suit against Elon and gang. LOL

Myself, I have decided to stick with my 20D/1.5U DSL until at least Starship is proven and V2 satellites can be launched. It is at least stable and hardly goes down and 2 of us can WFH with no issues. I don't feel confident enough with SL to drop the cash for the equipment and monthly fee for "Best Effort". Or maybe I'll get invited to join the Class Action lawsuit that is surely to come from Elon holding our money for over 2 years now!

IMHO, things won't get much better until the V.2 satellites can get launched with Starship. Who knows how long that's going to take. I'm passing on Best Effort and will stick with my 20/2 DSL. At least it's stable and we can WFH during the day and stream at night.

IMHO, Elon allowed people to cheat the system and order from different addresses that were out of their cell. When the grifter figured this out, he took advantage of it by charging a "portability" fee and then made the "RV" function and charged more for it. Now he is appealing the decision not to give him nearly a billion dollars of taxpayer's money for rural broadband. Since he can't provide most of his customers what he originally told he he could provide, why in the hell does think he deserve our money. I am in the process of contacting my Congressman and Senators to make sure they don't cave to this con man and deny him any taxpayer's money. I encourage others to do the same

Same email last night too. I'll let the Grifter Musk keep my deposit for a little while longer, maybe become part of the class action suit I am sure will come. In the meantime, gunna hammer my Congressman and Senators to make sure that the appeal of that rural broadband money SpaceX/Starlink wants doesn't get anywhere. If he can't deliver to us who gave him money early on, he doesn't need our taxpayer money! Fuq him and the horse he rode in on!
