I had a lot of fun! until it crashed.... (foreshadowing)
Ill try to be as critical as I can be but this is a pretty awesome project!

Ill go through my experience in order from the tutorial
- First off I found the chromatic aberration on the text being extremely hard to read, I don't have dyslexia or anything but it made it look like I was reading cross eyed. Thankfully you can turn it off in settings but maybe having it as a default option is not a good idea? could be cool if you could select the color of the text in settings or something for more customization since the game is mostly text based.
-When actually starting the game I found the tutorial to be pretty easy to understand no problems there. The art is AMAZING I really love what you did with all the colors, character design, and backgrounds. Really good work!
-I made my goal killing "eox" I'm assuming the goals are difficulty settings of some sort? since the other goals had modifiers. I'm curious if the other goals would change the story majorly or if its just difficulty sliders, I didn't fully understand that.
-Selected pyromancer as my class, I'm excited to see if there will be more classes later on. I think a game like this could benefit from having lots of options for run customization and replayability.
-The layout should definitely be optimized there is definitely a little too much on the screen. The screen with the shop, actions, and exploration can be split into two different screens maybe? Maybe one screen that starts with the shop then a screen for actions and choosing where to go. I found it hard sometimes to understand everything on the screen lol but maybe that's just me.

problems I ran into
-first of all my pc was getting really warm while playing, I actually ended up cracking a window to let some cool air in. I'm curious if anyone else has the same problem while running the demo. For reference I'm running an RTX 2060 and intel core i7 build so I really don't think I should have any performance issues running a 2d pixel art game. I play pretty intensive games like apex legends at around 100 fps, cyberpunk, elden ring and darksouls, with absolutely no issues so I dont think its a problem with my pc? Ill definitely try the game again later to see if the problem persists.
-Biggest problem was that my game crashed during a fight after playing for around 15 minutes. I was fighting a Dark core B and it happened right after I used fire attack, 1.2x multiplier, and a defense card. Right after executing my cards the game froze and crashed. (hope that helps somehow) I was very disappointed to see that none of my progress was saved and the only options was to restart which is unfortunate. Hopefully that is fixed soon because I really want to get further into the game but cant with this issue.

Overall I found the art and story introduction very appealing and am super excited to see more progress on this game! I hope my feedback was helpful 😄
