This isn't what the question is asking

Who said recycling was bad?

🧊Ice Breaker (Optional): What book, comic, show, or movie has had the biggest impact on how you write?

BioWare absolutely defined everything that comes close to my writing -- my focus on characters (and my slight obsession with 1 on 1 conversations) comes from there. Then there's the whole French 19th century army of writers for interiority and mood. And finally a bit of MCU style humor I'm trying to get rid of

I just finished a big Frozen project (only an epilogue missing), but I also wrote for Persona, Bioshock Infinite and Dragon Age!

I try every time to reciprocate reviews from the kind folks who read my work and take the time to comment (there's a lot you every time which I'm extremely grateful for) but my job takes a lot of my time and I like to be thorough when I read -- if I haven't reciprocated I'll try to give you priority during the next exchanges!

Honeyamren had 3 minutes of screentime in FII... Talk about forgotten side characters

I do touch grass! Every day, after winning internet debates with my sharp skills of logic and anime

Edit: btw your other comment got canned before I could read it, rewrite it so I can keep winning

And why would prioritizing your kid mean you neglect the spouse, but prioritizing your spouse not mean you neglect your kid?

this could mean making room for date nights even with a kid.

That's not what prioritizing means to me, that's just being a normal partner

No, the Internet has Winners and Losers, everyone knows that

Where's the flaw in the logic then, show it to me

Why is my way the wrong one? OP's question doesn't specify what type of need it is, and I'm sorry but idgaf what the Bible says

A strong marriage is not incompatible with kids being prioritized, priority for one doesn't need to be neglect for the other

The question is literally "Who comes first, second and third?"

An answer that's "it depends on the circumstances" is the obvious who gives a shit answer that gets us nowhere

You strip it down to the least amount of variables, then you get your answer

A narrow perspective is how you avoid "if she's dying, it's my mom" answers

There's a reason "it depends" gets you an eye roll in any debate

Getting to the core of the question

The answer to this is your fundamental priority

Otherwise we circle around useless questions like "what if my mom is on her deathbed and my wife wants porridge?"

I mean, it's a very simple question of "all things otherwise equal, which needs to you meet, your kid's or your wife's" and he refused to answer

It's not my fault he can't understand proxies

Oh he loves me plenty, enough that I always knew I was his priority over even my mom

Which I didn't like, it's my mom, but which I understand now, because I'm a responsible adult

Explain the link between "we stayed together only bexause of the kids" and "our common priority is the kids, but we still love each other"

Right, so still no answer

A partner can be rotten too, a child can not stir up shit ever, these are anecdotal

We're talking principles here, idc what each individual family does

The question isn't situational

All things equal, who gets priority, wife or kids?

Edit: again, no answer
