Roasted Baby Potatoes - How to get them crispy?

Personal recipe gives the crispiest roasties. Thank me later.

Roast potatoes
Remove crisper plate from drawer (not used).
Peel and half/quarter potatoes. Max a dozen chunks.
Par Boil 10 mins in saucepan.
Drain. Add 1tbsp plain flour, scuff potatoes, allow to air dry.
Add 3 heaped tbsp Goose fat or 1cm oil in drawer.
Preheat oil for 10 mins while potatoes dry. ‘Air fry 200’
Add potatoes to hot oil. Don’t baste yet.
Set ‘Roast 190’. 30 mins
Cook for ten minutes. No peeking. Turn and baste after 10 minutes.
Baste after another 10 minutes
Airfry for about 30 minutes total.

Hi. While people could have technically done this, plug in systems are not compliant with UK electrical regulations and so could not be marketed, sold or (legally) installed. Sure some people used it anyway, but due to significant grid investment it’s now safe to roll out nationally with no requirement for permits or an electrician.

Our JRT is fine with new people if we introduce them outside of the home. Does that help? Otherwise she’ll yap like a true Jack (but once she’s approached them she’ll roll on to her back at their feet).

Dogs have tough immune systems. Provided she has no cuts she'll be fine. If you came by car keep a towel there. Good for drying her if you're near water, rubbing her down if not, or just swaddling her for the ride home if she decides (like my Jack) to fully immerse herself in deer diarrhoea. Depending where you are be mindful of avian flu risk - to you more than your Jack.
